The tax payers of Hull haven't paid for anything. The local council has guaranteed the loan so the tax payer will foot the bill only if Hull KR don't pay. |

The Mail can reveal the terms of that lease sees the SMC;
Cover policing and stewarding costs for Hull FC games at a cost in excess of £100,000 a year, a service not provided to Hull City.
Purchase, as part of the lease agreement, £140,000 worth of Hull FC Premier Club season passes every season, giving the club guaranteed income.
Subsidises the catering and beer sales at each match, making a loss of £70,000 last season.
In a statement yesterday, Mr Allam insisted the stadium must be run on sound business principles, having lost £409,000 in the last financial year.

We don't say we have no money. The club says it relies on private investors to put their hands on their pockets to ensure we can pay up near full salary cap. Big difference.
We don't have enough cash to pay full salary cap AND spend massive amounts on academies. It's the clubs decision which we do and generally they've done ok in the years since joining SL in building a squad the reaches the playoffs and after all winning games is what the customers want.

I'm just proving the point that fans of clubs like to omit/change the historical facts to suit their agenda.
I was in fact making the same point to you earlier in this thread with regard to our previous over use of overseas players.
I also pointed out that fans jump on the defensive when it is brought up a point proved by hull smallears rather well.
If I may say the likes of Burns, Wayman and Costigan should be the kind of players we are looking at instead of the never has been's we have generally got before. |
