Quite the opposite probably, the likes of Hull, Wigan, Catalans, Castleford and Salford would be happy, its not effecting the bottom end of the relegation battle.

| few teams at the top picking up a few injuries to major players...warrington-austin, fc-kelly and cas-watts, lower teams signing players
could be interesting over the next couple of weeks, top 5 could have a total different look come cc cup final weekend, think we will see wigan in second place by then, wire, fc, cas, catalan and salford all seperated by 2-4 points! exciting and nervous times!
bottom, leeds seem to be getting results, expect them to beat catalan minus tomkins and mcilorum...london may turn them over again the following week too and make it an even tougher scrap to avoid relegation

| In terms of the relegation battle, London have benfited twice from Saints resting players. They still weren't gimmes and needed winning but theres 4 points more than London may have got otherwise.
This week Leeds are the main beneficiaries of last weekends debarcle in France. That might just be enough for Leeds to finally survive.
Right now I can't see any other team winning SL other than Saints and they're likely to get the treble.
I doubt we'll beat Wigan this weekend so the bottom is likely to become a three way with us, London and Wakey now.

Shudds have got to be in there somewhere with their remaining games, I'll show my @rris on't town hall steps if KR are still involved on the last day.

I've supported Rovers for 40+ years, I know we have the ability to shoot ourselves in the foot when everything looks good. However, this time, I hope you're right.

Quite ironic that Saints should face a weakened side, although may of Wires changes are not strictly by choice, unlike Saints who fielded a deliberately weakened side and their 17 is still stronger, in terms of their best 17, than Saints put out the other week

| Saints v Wigan grand final nailed on. Warrington are shot. They are now closer to the bottom of the table as they are to the top. Worryingly, Wigan seem to be peaking at the right time. If it was saints v Warrington GF we would win easily but against Wigan they can always produce a performance when it matters

Saints only rested Fages and Percival the likes of our top players in Coote, Walmsley, Roby and Morgan were injured it looked as though Warrington rested more players in Clark, King, Philbin, Patton and Cooper only Austin, Hughes, Charnley were declared injured with Lineham suspended.
Holbrook puts more trust in the younger players and has been using them quite frequently since the Easter Weekend so its not really as manipulated as it seems. An example of that is James Roby who has been injured the majority of the season and has only played 50% of our games, Holbrook has been using Smith and Bentley at 9 and they have gained valuable game time experience from it.

| This Leeds team has crumbled when the pressure of expectation has got on top of them this season, hence the regular collapses from winning positions in games.
If they somehow managed to get into the five, with no pressure on them and with a strong run of form, going to Wigan away or Hull away in week one would be a beautiful thing and should be mildly terrifying for those teams.

| So, another week off before the run in, which looks like it's going down to the wire.
The Giants visit FC who are in the hunt for a top 5 spot
Catalans host HKR....IMHO Catalan are out of the race for the top 5 so I'd fancy HKR here.
Leeds visit the capital in another "must win" game for London
Wakefield visit a resurgent Wigan
I think leeds and Wakefield are one more win away from safety, whilst Huds, London and HRK will need 2 more wins

| next round of games will be fun
catalan will have mcilorum back, beat kr and they will still have a sniff going into the last game due to the cas v fc game the following week! kr losing influential players in parcell and quinlan too!
london v leeds- leeds win, they are safe, london win, i think they will just about be ok
wakey v wigan-wakefield will be thankfull of todays win
fc v hudds-all depends on which fc turn up! hopefully the one that wants to put to right our magic weekend and salford results! hudds just look like a team resigned to relegation atm!

| Wigan, with speedster Bevan French on the wing, should beat Wakefield comfortably.
Leeds might, and I say might, lose to London in London.
It could all come down to the final weekend when Wakefield plays London.

Huddersfield have a cushion of 76 +/- over London, HRK have just 18. If London are to stay up, they either need to win 2 more games, or catch that HKR points difference figure.

Whoever is bottom come the end of the season, it will be with a record number of points.

It only takes another thrashing for Hudds and a win for London and that will soon close. Similarly with HKR.

London are on the same points as shudds with an inferior points difference, but if shudds don't win another game then London only need to win one more, I think.

All that Jean is left with is cherry picking French players in any of the other SL sides, as his beloved Catalan have spectacularly fallen off their perch.
The grubbiest side in SL are out of the play offs and waving the white flag.
Thankfully, Trinty have finally managed a win and taken a huge leap towards safety.
I think London have another win in their locker and it's now down to KR and Huddersfield 0, to fight it out.
