Away shirt looks like the title squeaked to early 80's sci-fi Sappire and Steel.

| A couple of good efforts from Hudds. They sometimes do a unique looking away shirt with dubious results (the one from either 2012/13 with the white splotches on was god awful) but this one is really good.

| Hull Kr away shirt is very smart and big wraps to the sponsors as well for the colour changes to their logos in order for it to come together properly.

Looks a bit plain and boring. Nice that the sponsors logo changes colour but again I dislike changing the club badge on away kits to suit the shirt. Your badge represents your club and for me shouldn’t be altered colour wise regardless of what the shirt looks like.
Got to say at well, the state of some of their promotional shots. A bunch of fans walking down a tunnel with half empty bottles of Carling in their hands looking like rejects from some football hooligan film starring Danny Dyer. Really the best they could do?

Agree entirely on the club badge.
I know what you mean on the video, it’s a bit cringey at times but I suppose in their defence they’re at least trying something rather than just sticking a photo up on the website.
What annoyed me most was the terrible writing of the article on the website. It looks like it’s written by middle set GCSE students. That’s not a critcism that’s unique to Hull KR though, I’m constantly amazed at how god awful some of the content is on many clubs websites.

I know that, I was having a little fun with our neighbours. It’s nice to see Widnes celebrating an iconic moment on their history. I love to see clubs celebrate their history.

| Quote ="MonkeyLover"First of all Nike do not give a stuff about Rugby League. Nor do Adidas and the licensee of Puma, Genesis, might care if someone that sells more than 5000 replica became available such as Wigan/Warrington however other than that they are not that bothered.
Apart from the fact they do not care about RL they only supply bespoke/sublimated to very high level Football clubs such as Man Utd and Chelsea meaning clubs would have to choose from a couple of brochure Rugby Union shirts and print on all of their sponsors etc.
ISC, XBlades, Oneills, errea etc are all geared up for manufacturing their own kit and teamwear which provides clubs with a far more personal service which is actually perfect for the demands of RL. Try asking a Union Club or University who wear Canterbury or Kukri about the horrors of waiting 16/18 weeks for those brands as they don't own their own factory meaning they are always late delivery. ALWAYS!! This is why those 4 brands dominate UK Rugby League.
As for Kappa it is not 'Kappa' doing the deal, it is a UK licensee called SFD Finance or something. Any deal is financed by the UK licensee and manufactured in France at a Kappa approved factory but nothing to do with the brand direct.
Bradford wanted a ridiculous deal, especially considering at the time they were in League One, so it will either be ISC retaining or Kappa who have paid it. I cannot see another brand wanting to pay that sort of money when they already have the UK's leading clubs under contract.'"
Is it such a ridiculous deal if we have a company who actually wanted to pay the fee? Bulls got what they wanted Kappa did.

| 3 quality shirts from Rovers for 2019 , coupled with some decent signings . Big wraps to Motordepot for agreeing to the colour of the sponsorship logo to prevent it becoming instrusive on the shirt ( See Wigan) .
Also the Blue Rovers badge looks great on the shirt .

Of course Nike don’t give a stuff about a game played on the south east coast of Australia and the north west of England. Manchester tiddlywinks team has more chance of getting Nike to produce their shirts

| From the same site and slightly off topic but this is a right shirt, lovely 100% cotton . They've got it in long sleeve as well. Even got Millwards Cronulla 1976 replica shirt as well on that site

I remember when Leeds did the red badge. Awful.

I'm pretty sure they wore a V necked shirt on that fateful day although it was a couple of generations ago and I've aged a bit since then

| Before my time but I watched it years ago - just watched the end of the game and they played in a hoop. Put in 'Hull KR Wembley 1980 Final Hooter' in a youtube.
A picture of the 1980 team walking around after the game in the link below

It's this one.

It needed to be explained, I was sick of seeing people asking why Super League teams don't ask Nike or Adidas to make their kits
