I would be really cheesed if was a supporter of widnes and they take a look at the ground where celtic are moving too its only a little bettter than brewery field and they said on thier press release IF they move back to a redevolped ground in bridgend.

Not sure what these boxes are.

In fact, the only stadia criterion I remember was that suitable grounds will hold at least 12,000 spectators. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't RP hold 10k?

Before you get defensive again, I actually do think it looks a nice little ground, even if it is dated.

Why would the RFL admit a new club to SL then warn that club about the quality of their ground? Why dont the RFL send themselves a letter warning themselves about the quality of their new franchises. Idiots.

They are moving there because the RFL say the stadium meets the criteria so it will make it better

If Salford move to old trafford, St Helens to Leigh Sports Village and the yorkshire teams merge and relocate to Elland road, I'm sure there will be no issue.

I do agree to a certain extent, but Dewsbury, Hunslet et al all have safety certificates, but I can't see many people being too keen on those grounds hosting Super League?

It's a stadium set to be replaced, just like many in SL.

Big modern stadiums less than half full means no atmosphere at all, and they look bad on the telly too, so don't do RL any favours in terms of advertising the sport.
At least some of the older stadia have some atmosphere (and terracing!)
