The forwards need to pick up this week, that's what has got the Dragons where they are this season but lately they haven't been as strong. Plus teams are running at Soward alot to make him do plenty of defending and there closing him down quick in attack. Ben Creagh seems very quiet indeed, normally very dangerous on the left edge.
Bennett will be working on it and he'll get them ready for the finals, next week is a good chance to play themselves back into a bit of form against the Rabbitohs, if they lose then i'd be worried.

But i cant see them losing after the Panthers smashed them today.

Hindmarsh and Grothe back for the Eels which will make a difference, still think the Dragons will win but i dont think they'll hammer them like they did last week. If the Dragons get on top early on they'll wear them down but if they dont and the Eels go infront it could be a cracker. The Eels need to improve in the forwards on last week.

Dragons will win IMO, they have a good record at Suncorp and will beat the Broncos in a very close game.
It's about time Ben Hornby stepped up and take some pressure off Soward in attack, he doesn't offer enough for a halfback IMO and maybe dropping him to the bench and playing Nathan Fien would be a better option.
Tough game but Dragons by 7 and in the other game Eels in a high scoring game.

Have the Dragons announced any new signings for next year?
Poore is leaving so they'll need a prop and IMO they need a half back to replace Hornby (he's knowhere near good enough) a hooker to replace Young or to play Fien there and although i dont mind Darius Boyd i think a better full back is needed, Boyd's okay but okay wont win you anything, he's no Slater or Hayne is he, he's got 2 tries all year and he's better on the wing IMO.
Peaked too early but i'm sure with a couple of additions they'll be close again next year. Wouldn't put any money on them mind.

so next year give the kid a go at 7, shift hornby to fullback, boyd to wing and wendall on bench or dropped altogether

Tries aren't everything for a fullback. Dugan only scored one try this year, but I honestly wouldn't trade him for any other fullback in the game, besides Hayne.

Boyd has impressed me at the Dragons. Didn't rate him very highly last year. I do now.

Peni Tagive the young centre from the Tigers, i saw him play before he got injured earlier in the season.
I see Matt Cooper hasn't been picked in the Aussie train-on squad due to another injury, he's an absolute joke. Plays a game then misses two and it's been like that all season.
Justin Poore will be a big loss next season aswell, he's had a great year.
Morris, Soward, Boyd, Creagh, Weyman and Poore all in the Aussie squad.

dont worrie. poor is a massive loss . but our lower grade are a champion side of future stars. we won the club championship aswell
