Came in and did a lot better than I expected and due to injury took and earned his opportunity well.



It’s sometimes forgotten that we provided a lifeline for him as Catalans we’re trying to offload him due to his off field behaviour and the groups he was mixing with away from the club.



He played a pretty important role in our 2018 season and that should not be forgotten.



I don’t know what he is paid just see the rumours on here and I I’ve no idea what his attitude is like again just see comments on here.



What I would say that IF he is on as big a wage as is rumoured, fair play to him, that’s not his fault.



I’d also say at his age he needs to be playing regular first team rugby and there are only probably 2 or 3 clubs he can get that at in SL so a move to one makes sense for him.



Good luck to the lad I’ve no issue with him and I’m sure if he ends up at Salford he will be a decent fit for them due to his style and that of Evalds who he will be replacing.

Correct, but because Escare is now out of favour, there is no need for some supporters to be calling him names and making up wild tales about him.

For me on the pitch Escare did okay, pushing good. People have said things about his off pitch behaviours/attitude but I don’t think I have read any particular story or any facts, just whispers. I was at the fans day at Orrell the season before last and he stayed longer than any other player and watched the juniors and reserves afterwards.

I remember Wigan fans saying this about him.

When both players look back at their careers I wonder who will be more embarrassed? Probably not the one wearing the Grand Final winners ring.

Barba ? Is he the guy Oliver Gildart went round easier than he could a wheelie bin ?

Barba did of course win the NRL in 2016 but rather than do what Escare did in 2017, he was banned for drugs.
