Australia aren't interested in hard metres from the forwards, they're hitting the defender head down and looking straight for the floor and a lightening play the ball. The referee is calling "move" or similar very very early in the contact and Cameron Smith has already started waving his arms at dummy half trying to draw attention to any sign of groundwork by England's players.

I don't get to watch much NRL these days, but I'm guessing they don't have the dragging rule over there?

Australia are struggling, we've got to press this home. Tomkins coming off would be a massive blow though.

I'm sure that was Graham having a word about these late hits. He's been done a number of times when attacking the line and it's happened to our kickers 3 or 4 times.

We're much the better team.

Decent half. Our bench players have been impressive, especially Tom Burgess.

It's a good thing the final is already set down for NZ, or they'd have to shift it.

Agreed they've all done well coming from the bench. Ferres has added aggression, Clark speeds up the play, Hill makes a lot of yards every drive and Burgess forces a number of players to come in to tackle him which makes extra room out wide.

Analysing the Australian try, JTomkins overrchases and loses his hips but just as culpable is Hodgeson who under chases and fails to close the gate behind Tomkins.

Agree, hits on a half back might well have been pulled up, I don't agree with it but these are today's rules. Graham has been awesome so far!
