Well, they're shooting themselves in the foot at those prices. 4 of us were going to go but £80 in total is ludicrous for what amounts to a reserve team friendly. To put it in perspective that would buy 2 of us year long subscriptions to Wigan TV (with change for bus fare home and a chip supper! Haha). I know which is the better value.

It's been £20 the last few times in the friendly afaik. Sending a weakened team isn't helping, so don't blame us. LSV have to charge us for the use of the ground. If you're going to behave in this manner, we'll have a friendly with another SL team next time who will bring a stronger squad. Anyway, we might be in SL ourselves next season.

It has, and that's the reason I don't go. Hope you do make it into SL next time mate. The atmosphere at the DW was always one of the best when the Leythers turned up in good numbers.

Tough tackling going in there from both teams.

Harry Smith has shown some good signs, definitely a talent. He definitely needs some game time this year.

Enjoying the game. Mitch Clarke is still steaming in but not making great yards. He looks like your workhorse kind of prop. Good to seen Kilner who looks a handful. Handley and Smith look real threats

The jury is out on Clark but i'm with you I think Shorrocks has had his day and its time to move on, good player on his day but not quite good enough to get a regular place in the first team

Thought Bullock looked powerful, quite fast for a prop and a lot of meters made. Joe in front of Clark on that showing.
Some real talent in that mainly a reserve squad.
A loss of 12-6 but a good showing against an experienced Leigh outfit.

Well he didn't. Bullock, Smith and Joe Shorrocks were probably the best.

Bullock looks much fitter than last year and should be involved next Thursday IMO. I don’t think he will be but he’d be ahead of most if the five props not selected tonight in my book.

Bullock was immense and for me definitely warrants a bench spot next week. There are some good young lads coming through the system and it was good to see jack Wells back in action.

I think it will be Burgess, Flower, Clubb and Partington. Not great that the first two haven't had any game time.
