That's their problem for leaving it so late. You could get unreserved tickets up to less than a week before the event.

Yep, had it in 2008(?) on the Saturday and couldn't face the dullness on the Sunday so went on lower tier

The problem will still be that despite selling out unreserved seats the majority of supporters will be selective as to which games they watch. They might watch their own and stay for the next game or in my own case I'll probably turn up just before the Leeds v Bradford game and catch that before Wigan v Saints. The result is that games are invariably played in front of half full stadiums at best.
You can place all the spin you like on it about it being a success but the fact remains that the casual viewer switches on and sees a game played out in front of masses of empty seats.
Therein lies the primary flaw in the Magic weekend concept. (Thats before the artificial skewing of the final league placings of course).

I'm sure most people would agree; as big a fan of rugby league though we may be, sitting through four consecutive games will give anybody a square arsé.

Not to mention a fortnight's silent treatment from the wife. Actually that's probably an argument in favour of getting there earlier on Sunday.

We have a childs ticket and an adult ticket both unreserved seating going spare for the sunday. if anyone is after a ticket. Only problem would be is that we won't be there in time for the first game as not setting off for the ground until 12.

Wish I'd bought my unreserved tickets for saturday earlier...sold out according to rfl ticketing website, still seems to be a lot in the reserved sections though.

Apparently yesterday was their best ever day for sales.

I emailed RFL ticketing yesterday, asking if they intended to sell tickets for the parts of the stadium greyed out on the ticketing website, and if so if they would be selling them in an unreserved arrangement. Today, I received the following helpful relpy:

"Hello Carl,

We have sold out of all unreserved Sunday Magic tickets.

Kind regards,

......"

RFL ticketing website says that they've sold out of unreserved seats for the saturday, however I rang up this morning and managed to book two unreserved seats

Not everyone only stays for their game. Some folk (like me) have family coming from far flung places and are going to watch every match. For that I want a guaranteed decent view.

The highlight for me will be The Giants, but I am genuinely interested to see every team.

For the record I will be shouting for:

Wakey
Widnes (for underdog reasons)
KR
London (again as underdog)
Fartown of course
Bradford
Saints

However, other than our game will not be at all perturbed if the results go the other way
