Which is why I took plenty of enjoyment from cheering the Kiwis on in Brisbane last year, despite being sat with a very nice Aussie couple.

it was great to see them win the world cup but in all honesty if they had played 100 times that year they still would have only won once, which made the final all the sweeter for me

Not necessarily true though, the Kiwis have a decent record against the Aussies in important games. Obviously they don;t really bother in the non-events.

Yeah, I think one of the five best coaches in the history of the game is wrong and that Super League is a glorious competition of an incredibly high standard and Gould is wrong and geez I love these Angus Burgers they have at maccas right now I usually but two of them and a chocolate thick shake but it just depends really because I know they are not good for your health but who cares.

i wouldnt say SL is as good as park football, more like our NSW Cup.

its really good seeing players like demetriou who could never make it in the NRL having such long SL careers

and SL is also an excellent proving ground for untried aussie coaches as well

If your game is so great maybe you can explain why so many high profile Aussie international players who come over here dont make the grade- King, Mullins....... I could go on and on

It is good to see the likes of Elford, Skandalis, Carroll who couldn't hack in SL still trotting out every week in the NRL - we wont talk about Stacey Jones' impact this season save you some embarrassment

The history of who's game, not ours that's for sure. That title belongs to people like Ken Trail, Alex Murphy, Peter Fox, John Monnie, Frank Myler and Tony Smith to name a few. Gould and his alleged efforts don't register here where the NRL is just a side show, comprendee!
