We have even seen clubs have academies, then seen the SC fall in real terms, then seeing those same clubs give up on youth production. Its almost as if there isn't a correlation between the two.

The marquee rule is a god principle, terribly implemented. The opportunity cost of a marquee signing is still massive.

Kids don't play in SL. Professional's do.

After all, it has delivered at least 5 SL titles for Leeds, plus a treble!

Maybe the Bulls should fold, take a year away from the sport and come back as a new business. This last minute try and find a new buyer process has failed previously so why should it work this time. 5 days to undertake a due diligence process just isn't enough.

Maybe you could point me in the direction of all their declarations over the last few years of how they would love to get involved in RL and resurrect the fortunes of Salford/Wakefield/Bradford etc but have been put off because they'd be limited in how much of their money they could burn to buy an all conquering team? Simple fact is these 'investors' exist only in your mind!

As whoever it is clearly HAS passed the fit & proper test, all I can say to them is

If it is Chalmers I definitely have reservations.

According to the RFL's press release. the 'interested party' hasn't actually made a bid yet so the 'test' may still need to be carried out.
