Crowds at Catalans are always lower at the start of the season, improving significantly when the weather gets better and RU + football season finishes.

Is it any wonder when we play, as you yourself have put it, in a ground falling to bits and don’t give away season tickets almost for free like Ken does?

Aint Cas ground falling to bits and charge over £200 for season tickets.....

Well if we had the same level of performance in the league as yourselves had under Powell I’m sure our attendance would be higher. Not to mention a Cc final appearance.

Aren't most of Cas's ticket sales sponsored by the Social Security anyway.

Also a G.F. & winning the league in 2017, when were Wakey last in a major final? Ah yes, forty three years ago!

I call it my Annus Horribilis, on the Thursday Thatcher got into power, followed by C.C. misery on the Saturday, and people wonder why Wakefield's attendances are poor.

we've had 4 league home games. played salford and catalan, cas brought hardly any - was a very disappointing attendance from them and KR. so nice try but no.

the other three were weekend day fixtures, Catalan was a Friday evening.

You want to check with your people Jools and I'll think you'll find that Salford do infact bring around that number, you of course are not suggesting that Huddersfield brought an extra 2000 to watch Salford than wanted to see Catalan ?

Salford were at Wakey a couple of games ago and fetched far more than shudds ever bring if that helps

That would suggest that you filled a quarter of the stand you occupied. Not even close.
Our fan demographic is very different to yours. Mostly over 65s and kids. Few in the 20-30bracket. Not people who tend to do Friday evening games. Saturday afternoons however are generally well attended.
The main driver however was the Deliveroo festivals have been running on the Saturday afternoon games, whilst there were also bring a buddy tickets given out for those games so yeah, extra folk did come down and make a day of it.

Hull KR ground only holds 10k remember. Much easier to "Sell Out" over bigger grounds. Cas have had 2 10k games in a row also this year so wouldn't read too much into that stat.

The primary KPI for Super League this year is 10 sell out crowds. Cas Tigers on course for giving them 3 by the end of the Easter period.

Not sure Hull and Leeds will be classed as sell outs though. Salford yes as we were capped to 10,500. Against Hull we hit over 10,000 but pretty sure we were back to 11,000+ capacity.

Same will be for Leeds. Probably over 10,000 again but not an official sell out.

Rovers are doing well and the beer tents and food vans are a great idea, but you do have to remember they've shut a stand which takes 2k off the capacity. Not hard to sell out when you've made your ground smaller.

Crowds are booming due to saints, cas and Hull kr leading the way.
