I sincerely hope that this is a "cash" sponsorship deal.....a CPA is one step up from Stobart but light-years away from the Engage deal. CPA deals (Cost per Acquisition) are the preferred marketing tool of those companies who want to "BUY CUSTOMERS" but have little if any actual budget to fund their own growth.........they get access to an audience, which they don't pay for, but they instead pay a premium for each connection.

Given the xxxxxxxxxxxx superleague appears in papers, TV, RADIO, WEB, shirts and in the minds of the 150k or so fans who attend a game each fortnight, the RFL should be able to command some wedge up front.

But I expect the RFL to roll over and take it up the bum as usual. Clueless.

nothing to do with RL they were just the cheapest few months back

The meeting, and vote on the SL structure is at Langtree Park today. I'd imagine the title sponsor annoucements will come with that later on

ps regardless of what you think of their stores the WA guy who owns Cash Convertors and franchises them out around the world is a massive RL fan, they are sponsoring Hull City which is probably costing them more than the entire SL would, I would if the RFL have been on the phone to him?

Looks like the game needs a name change from SL to AL.
