1) no one in Super League has signed him
2) he's a winger and that's a position we can cover easily. We need props, maybe a centre and maybe a hooker and I'd rather use my overseas signings in those positions.

Think the reason for him not doing SL is it takes a special talent to take a quota spot as a winger. Abundance of decent English wingers, plus no quota cap in championship.

Didn't say we won't. But we have two right there that are available to negotiate with.
And to Pat's point, you can find an English winger easier than an English prop.

And yes I realise there's no quota, but I'd still rather keep Kershaw as a young lad we've developed.

I’m not so sure on that. The Cas lads had, had enough of him and the main reason for his failure at Wire was the fact he lost the changing room as soon as he joined.

Well what a first few months we have to look forward to.

knew somebody who played under him very professional,has high standards so hopefully a good clearout,hopefully no player revolt ala warrington,smith & poching .And the players buy into it as at the moment in all sport player power seems common.

Think he is the kind of Coach who will put time in to find them and bring them to the club Must admit beginning to look forward to next year Be good to see us win more matches. S L is for about 6 clubs, and think it will get down to the same 3 or 4 who will win every thing
