At a time when Bradford are history, London Failed, Canada/USA failed, and the mighty Widnes have fallen, it is a massive positive for a heartland club with a rich owner to be knocking on the door of SL season after season...

That season after season has been regularly throwing up a reason why Leigh can't join/stay in the elite, is the game shooting itself in the foot. for some sort of sporting purity that has nothing to do with good business. Time to say "no" to Toulouse if they fail to find a French RL TV deal......

Wasn’t good granted, poor discipline and lack of invention (you cut us apart when you went out wide but tried to bully down the middle) - Leigh deserve a lot more credit than your giving them

That was probably Salford's worst performance since they lost 65-0 to Castleford in 1990, but only just.

Surprise surprise the team that played a bit s!@t lost! That is how it generally works. Leigh’s forwards were solid. We played a pretty error free game. Kicking game was good from Mellor. A great win built on hard work over the 80. Leigh still unbeaten by Salford at the LSV.

I bet you will be really fed up when The good Doc joins up with DJB, remember you saw it here first get ready for your first instalment of the Dezzy and Doc show, now has a Leigh fan this will be one Roller Coaster I can't wait to ride, all we need now us for the SL to double the cap or say £3 M at least, I know it will be in the Championship next season so how about Leigh going through that season without a single loss!

I was at the game, Salford's troubled started when Marshall stuck up the team sheet, playing Lolohea at full back was absolutely criminal he is such an influence at stand off.

In fairness, Salford have a higher quality of player in a few positions but not across the park & while we/Leigh stepped up to around our best, Salford did play less than their best !

I think determination & a great team spirit in adversity is what won the day for Leigh !
