I am suprised you can remember your science teacher tigerman eleven, dont you ever stop to think what you might have achieved if you had taken more notice at school. How is the brick hunting going for the new ground btw, have you found one yet?

| Quote ="chissitt"Not a lot wrong with my grammar Nellie my dear, and as for your brother in arms tiggerman eleven he wouldnt know an apostrophe if it hit him on the head. Since you brought the subject up sweetheart I thought that I would remind you of a classic post of yours above
Thats the problem when you go on your pc after one of those popular toe curling nights out in downtown Marsden which they are allegedly famous for. On reflection, though I think that though your spelling leaves a lot to be desired you do seem to make a lot more sense, something for you to ponder over there old lass
'"
My comment to you was a reference to turfedout being pompous about grammar. I do not give a monkeys that you use apostrophes 3 times when they are not needed. Nor that you used 'here' when the correct word was 'hear'. I understood what you meant. On the whole I have little time for dullards who want to discuss grammar on a RL forum. That you feel the need to reproduce an old post of mine in a child like attempt to take a pop at me is genuinely endearing
Your rambling post has no RL content. Do you have difficulty with the subject? Many wakey posters on here would seem to share your 'need' to comment on me rather than RL.
This thread is on wakey's continued over reliance on non fed trained players and their embarrassing desire to get a player a macedonian passport. HTH

Replying to a post directly. Not bringing it up instead of RL.
Dissapointing that a poster like you comes on here to make a cheap pop.
However you are the umpteenth wakey poster who has nothing to say on rugby. there are plenty of insults by wakey posters, even amatuer psychology and accusations of racism. Clearly RL issues are of limited interest to wakey fans.
i will keep trying to focus on RL.

Your comments to me was another obvious attempt at trying to cause trouble, if you feel that you are incapable of putting your point across without having to include somebody whose is only guilty of replying to the troublemaking you seem to excel in then you are indeed to coin a well known phrase of yours spent
If you do not give a monkeys about my grammar then why bring it up? The reason that I brought your old post up was to show just what a hypocrite you really are, you are the dullard that wanted to discuss the grammar bit not me, I merely pointed out that your not all you seem to be yourself. Incidentally it would seem that you prerfer not to comment about your spelling and misuse of full stops your getting so boring now Nellie your so predictable, have a biscuit hth.

| What I find quite ironic is that the OP's club has by my reckoning 8 players themselves who are classed as quota, non-fed or exempt
Brett Hodgson
Lolesi
Whaturia
Drew
Fa'algo (sp)
Faiumu
Finnegan (think he is still there)
Korkidas (who is a Hudds player afterall)
Consequently if we take away Korkidas and Stosic from the Wakey list, we have 9 and the Giants have 8 !!!

Good point, JT.
The Wakefield board should be applauded for their efforts in trying to secure a Macedonian passport for James Stosic. Having a Macedonian plying his trade at the highest level of rugby league in the northern hemisphere can only be good for promoting interest in the game in Macedonia, and the international game as a whole.
If we ever do see a truly European Super League, it will be thanks to forward-thinking, pro-expansionist clubs like Wakefield who have had the courage to ignore the ridicule of the cave-dwelling little Englanders and expand the frontiers of the game.
A strong Super League (Europe) needs a strong Macedonia!
Good luck with the passport application James.

You said the RFL were 'pleased with' your academy development. Then you may also know what the RFL think about so many non fed players in a squad.

Just out of interest, how many players do Huddersfield have in their 1st team squad, that came through their academy system?

I suspect , not.
Can't comment on some of the names at the bottom of the list. (there could be some 'Wintersteins' in there). There looks to be 9 non fed trained and one of those (Smith) will not be there in 2010.
Happy for you to name the 10+ non fed trained.

Try the Giants website and a little research if no one on here can be bothered to do it for you.
I have been delighted watching the likes of Jacko/ Eorl/ Raleigh/ Cudjoe / Lawrence playing regularly in 09. Plus thought the likes of Elliot Hodgson showed promise on his mom winning debut versus Saints on Sky.
The value of good quality overseas signings has played its part. For example Lawrence has learned much from Fatz a NZ international while Cudjoe and E Hodgson have learned much from a player like Brett Hodgson. Rarely would much be learned from a journeyman.

I think Tommy is classed as fed trained also tbh so that means 8. Down to 7 next season with Tim Smith leaving.

Pitts signed for Leeds, he wasn’t ‘farmed out’ as you put it. Bibb plays prop and was well down the pecking order mid season hence the loan spell with HKR. Winterstein (which incidentally I was against the signing) plays SR. These players leaving had nothing to do with Wintersteins brief stint at BV.

5 games for Winterstein suggests he was an overseas player flown across the world to be well down the pecking order. Pitts and Bibb were under contract to wakey, your club chose to farm them out and bring in FW.

My point was that if you had not "loaned" him to us he his your player and would therefore count on your list. When his loan is up he will go back to you and count on your list.
You conveniently sidestepped the main point of my post which was that in terms of numbers there isn't actually a great deal of difference between your club and ours.
