Used to work in Aus, when they had 15. Money will talk ultimately. The season would be a couple of weeks longer, that's all, but each team would get a couple of weeks off during the year.

One team does not play at MM (possible the team in WCC) and makes the fixture up at a later date?

So who do they make up against , when all the other teams have played their full number ?

Yes they had 15 teams , but they played an even number of games , the magic weekend is an odd number of games , it only works with an even number of teams

then that 1 team who the team don't play at mm (come to make the fixture up) will have played a game more!

I don't have a calculator. As I said earlier, I really don't know how this problem could be overcome. However, I don't hear much stuff that's inaccurate. Let's just see what happens.

Starbug, you don't seem to be getting what I'm saying. I completely understand the difficulties of 15 teams. However, I'm saying that the reliability of the information leads me to believe that it may be possible.

What is possible , 15 teams ? , yes no problem at all

15 Teams and play an odd number of matches ? , not possible , don't book your hotel for Cardiff yet

But if they aren't going to drop anybody down , can you take Toulouse as well ?

15 teams means 7 Super League game at Magic Weekend, and the one team who have their bye that weekend play the WCC as headline game instead. Make sure the bye team are last year's champions and what's the problem?

God knows what will happen. But 30 games a season :\ plus cup, internationals. Already complaints about the hectic easter period. Not sure its overly likely yet.


I still think 14 will happen next season. Who the 14 will be though, I have no idea.

The problem is that the WCC team get two points for nothing.
