Flanagan has gone to Australia to be with his girlfriend, it was a personal decision as opposed to a business decision. The only player Wigan released who I would take back is Briscoe. At the time he was behind Radlinski and was still jsut a young lad when he went to Hull. |

So obviously not good enough for Wigan then.
You could turn the argument round and say that we are good judges of talent. We don't keep hold of average players. Of all the players that have left the club the only ones I'd take back tomorrow are Stephen Wild and Shaun Briscoe. |

There is also Kevin Brown. He is much better than Tim Smith has been for the last 2 seasons.
Plus he is English and his wages are probably half of what Smith was on.
