My guess if I were being positive would be that you’d want a better surface to put site offices on etc. Also you’d need a good base to tarmac on, eventually.

| Quote ="Khlav Kalash"Still have that nagging doubt redevelopment is reliant upon Yorkcourt and to be Frank that make me think it will not be happening anytime soon (10 years and counting since the original NM application went in this April) if at all. If there is some truth re the capital investment group then that could be an avenue for redevelopment.'"
I don’t know why you have nagging doubts, I don’t. However we fund the redevelopment I doubt Yorkcourt will be directly involved in any way. That ship has sailed many times around the world.
What funds we do get will come via the Council, the FA and whatever funds the club can tap into.
Whether the council can work some deal with Yorkcourt in some way who knows but they can’t directly admit it because BV is now owned by a private ltd company. Something tax payers can’t fund.
I really don’t know how it will be done but I don’t think anyone trusts Yorkcourt to pay up.
Hate to say it but Rodney and his little football team along with a hopefully more receptive council is our best hope.
Sorry as I doubts that last bit makes you any more hopefull

Ultimately it's from MC stating the BV planning application is dependent upon a other being submitted up at NM. At the time Brexit and the election were cited as reasons the delay. The election has been decided and Brexit is imminent but still no planning application has been submitted. If nothing else the past 10 years of their involvement has made me doubt everything YC say they are going to do to fulfil their obligations.
Re the football club, I think I'm one of the more practical supporters who can see the opportunity they could bring to the table, Rodney and all, and rejecting that out of hand is cutting the nose off to spite the face.

It wasn't resurfacing, prepping for site offices or for laying tarmac, it was hole filling. a bit of levelling out for those using the car park. The' planings' are a temporary measure.

I've seen it and I never said it was resurfacing as such, however, how can you state it isn't prepping for tarmacking or site offices in the future. Despite your self-acclaimed expertise you don't know that any more than I do.
I'm not in the building trade but I've seen areas tarmacked and you know what, that's exactly what it looks like.
Of course, it's a temporary measure, as noted by others why would you tarmac an area that will hopefully soon be a building site. That said it's now a surface you could tarmac over at some point. Not Motorway standard I accept but then it's not a Motorway is it?

| I spoke to the volunteer who was organising it he was waiting for then to come and flatten it out. Like everything in life there are standards and you have to have a base to lay tarmac on otherwise rain, frost, plants can all break it up along with driving over on Sky games we have heavy duty trucks reversing, turning all would rip up a poorly laid piece of tarmac. Have a closer look at the next side road or car park being laid it layered not a pile of flattened rubble.

I've seen it done, the base was like our carpark. Then when the time was ready they laid what I'd call hardcore, the steamrollered it. Then a machine with a man sat high up laid the tarmac then a guy with a push-type roller went over it to finish it. think they put down two layers.
So by my reckoning, the filling in or levelling takes us about a quarter of the way, which is all we need to be for now. It was an office car park that holds about 200 cars and leads to a loading bay and its lasted 10 years so far and I reckon it gets more use than BV will.

Over to you Mr Minards, can you fill us in on what’s going on in the car park? (Pun intended)

| Maybe it's just levelling the the surface and tidying it up, when the super bowl was demolished it was then scattered access where the car park was to fill in the holes that was there previously, my lad came down to help me when I was brewing one day and when we exited the ground we had to leave over the broken rubble when he had got home he found that his car had scratched from front alloy down the side of both doors to the back, luckily it wasn't too deep and managed to be polished out.
Do you really expect the car park to have tarmac laid I wouldn't

| After Super Bowl was flattened I found a large kitchen blade long sticking out the rubble on a match day. Thought better pick this up and hand it in, the steward looked a bit perturbed when I approached him.
Glad they’ve done some flattening. Positive that car park has cost me a couple of tyres

| I'm sure that over Doncaster Road from Belle Vue, adjacent Neil Fox Way, there are several "experts" on Tarmaccing and ALL of them will be willing to carry out the work at a very reasonable price.
