I'm not a Hull FC or Hull KR fan believe it or not!

If only the South Stand had space on the day I'd keep my mouth well buttoned, I agree that it is rubbish, as is the pricing policy, and I might choose to watch on Sky rather than stand there myself (only might mind, I've watched Rovers from worse spots...)

But there were probably 500+ free seats in the North Stand - so why didn't all these loyal Hull fans buy those? I've only managed to get an "away area" ticket for one KC derby so far, but I've watched every single other one from the West Upper, which was a mixed area and I bought my tickets direct from FC. If that had been full I would even have "braved" the North East corner if needs be. The difference is what exactly?

The only explanation for our North Stand tickets not being bought by FC fans was because they didn't care enough to support their team. The view is no worse than FC's own North Stand, so don't give me any of that quality of facilities nonsense. Sure, it ain't got a roof but then neither has the West Terrace at Leeds, or most of Odsal. Bottom line? FC fans don't support their team when they're near the bottom of the table. Well done!

FC had bigger gates than Rovers in the 70's and 80's, since when we've spent the best part of two decades out of the top flight, and guess what we still have a smaller home support than you. So what? We are discussing whether FC fans support their team PASSIONATELY enough to come to a derby when near the bottom of the table, and expected to lose.

I kinda reckoned, that if you had managed to attend Craven Park in the National Leagues, perhaps you also managed to follow your side to Hull for a SL fixture. Is that not something Huddersfield fans occasionally do? With or without skateboard!

ATEOTD we get over 10,000 every week at home and take decent numbers most weeks away. Over 1000 went to Cas to watch us get caned. With two shocking seasons after a period of relative success I'm quite happy with our crowd levels at present. I really don't see how a few hundred Hull supporters not going to derby game makes us poor fans. Frankly I think it's quite understandable.

It also puts into context how small and inadequate your ground is.

I didn't know about the North Stand tickets being available to Hull fans. Did the Hull shop sell them? Or did they only sell South Stand? Junior swaps were for the South Stand. That may be one reason.
Another being that all the fans like to be sat together in one area (we provide this for you at the KC) not split in to two different sections were they cannot sing and celebrate together.


The only explanation? Or are you just too simple to think of any others? I've given you two without trying.




Seriously? Are you kidding? The fact that the seats go back further at the KC so you can get a better view of the full pitch from a higher angle where you can see the passage of play better not count as viewing the game then?
Not to mention you don't get blinded by the Sun in the North Stand at the KC (on most occassions anyway).


The Western Terrace at Leeds is awful. I'd prefer to be in the North Stand at CP over that, admittedly. But only if it was the away stand, and not the 1/3rd away stand. Fans like to be surrounded by their fans.

Last game of the season. Nothing on the line. One week after the Cup Final. Everyone thought we were going to be stuffed because of the cup hangover (and inevitably was). And we were guaranteed to finish 11th. But we don't support our team when we're at the bottom of the table



The funny thing is, you actually really want to believe the crap you're coming out with, despite the obvious facts, such as our home attendances have never actually dropped below the capacity of your stadium despite being sh*t for two years. And also the fact that we took 3,000 fans to Castleford two weeks ago when we were still crap.


I don't know. Perhaps if you could sell more tickets to your own fans rather than relying on away fans, you'd actually see a five-figure crowd at Craven Park this season!

Yes, you really have been. Unfortunately, nobody wants to own you, so after "owning" you, they just give you back away again so someone else can own you again later.

If it was more adequate, then more would come.

If you gave us the East Stand, we'd sell it out.

If Hull KR cannot get 10k crowds without the help of away supporters, it says more about them than the away following.

Why would we give money to a club that treat us with nothing but contempt on a regular basis?

I guarantee we will take more fans all the way to Wigan fully expecting to get hammered in a game that means nothing. Why dont all these Rovers fans who would brave crawling naked over burning coals to watch the mighty Robins go to all the away games?

Since you seem to enjoy answering questions perhaps you could tell us all how many games this season Rovers have charged full price for the South stand? I've got trading standards on the other end of the phone waiting so if you could be prompt with your reply that would be much appreciated.

Not really .....did you not read the full thread? The reason most FC fans gave new Craven Park a miss, was because they will not give Hugnel a penny of their cash.
I am proud of my City of Hull, and am a supporter of the FC but I would not give your chairman a penny from my old age pension. See we're not as daft as he thinks -and that includes a hell of a lot of the HKR teams fans too. He would be far better telling it 'how it is' then may be his own fans will help swell his coffers.
I just hope that he made sure then Justin got the pound I sent (got a certificate of posting for it from the PO). I sent it, whilst asking KR fans to help J. with the fine for having the balls to tell it how it is-re his remarks re a certain referee! Oh please. The North stand is an OK place to watch rugby. You lot didn't buy the tickets still available there, which means you didn't want to watch your team play Rovers on Saturday. Everything else is just smokescreen or tangents from you. You think we like giving James & Kath our money after the various stunts FC have pulled over the years? Not really, but FFS I'm not going to let it stop me supporting my team against you lot, like I have done since god knows when (even when I knew we were going to get well and truly stuffed). That's what support means.

If you'd bought every available OK seat, but left the dodgy South Terrace as a wasteland, I'd give you all the credit in the world. But you didn't. Get over it, methinks you protest too much

We weren't selling North Stand tickets in our club shop ASAIK. The fans like to be sat together, not all over the shop. Part of being at the game is getting the atmosphere.


Why? So when we score they can go flying?
Will you pop us some binoculars as well?

I wouldn't mind, but it's not like the Rovers fans managed to fill the North Stand either. That's embarrassing.

Those North stand seats where only available at the KR end of the job and last year it was very difficult to get them.

Plus you had a around 100 left and as you charge the same price for all your seats at Craven Park. There is a price hike there as well, £20 the same as the main side price. You lot know how to charge I will give you that its the same price as the KCs North and south stands, except you get wet and it bounces.

even denying him the right to sit in his costume in the stand ?

There is only one club acting in a very juvenile and infantile way and its pathetic, it makes the whole game look bad. The rest of SL the clubs get along and work for the common goal, I suspect that many of them are getting fed up with it as well.

The thing is 1st one will inevitably change, the other will remain constant.
