| Anyone know where you can bet online for MOS?
I think the odds have it right. Pat Richards and Kyle Eastmond the stand outs for me. Pat started at 50/1 before coming in to 7/1.
Biased probably but Pat is top try scorer, top goal scorer and top points scorer by a clear 90 points so it has to be him - at the moment.

| Why? Just because he is top scorer doesnt make him MOS. If it hadnt been for a VERY dodgy refs call David Hodgson would be top try scorer.

Tony Smith plays his half backs left and right, as opposed to scrum 1/2 at 1st reciever and your 5/8 2nd reciever, so he's not completely off target.

Did Tony Smith tell you that Eastmond played in a role that's he never even played at club level? You must be well in with him.
Look, we can go round in circles. I'm happy to have Leon Pryce playing at 6 for Saints. I don't think he will win MOS, nor should he. I took exception to KW saying that Pryce was past it, when he clearly isn't. I've also got a problem with him saying that 4 players should get picked at stand off (which I regard as a fairly specialist position) and then naming 2 scrum halfs. It's like me saying that Sean O'Loughlin is the 3rd best 13 for England and then naming Burgess as one of the two better than him.

| If it helps the arguement any I always say that England should play Leon Pryce on the bench as he is capable of playing in pretty much every position outside the front row.

When has points scoring ever come into a MOS vote?
I wonder how forwards have ever got it previously, considering they don't score points by the sack loads.
It is pish easy for a goal kicker to be top points scorer, especially a winger. Pish easy is not a criteria considered in MOS.
Pat Richards may well be a shoe in for the dream team, even possibly player of the year, but he is as far removed as a contender for MOS as I am from getting to sleep with Cheryl Cole.

No top scorer does not make him MOS, but surely you can see what makes him a top class player? Miles better than David Hodgson.

| Top 3 for me but haven't seen enough games to back it up and will have forgot loads -
Cunningham, Morley, J Tomkins
Contenders -
Brown, Mason, O'Loughlin, Scrutton, Peacock, Graham, Roby
Players playing well also-
Amos, Eastmond, Monaghan, Pryce (shaping up again), S Tomkins, Witt,
Players i'd like at Wakefield - All of the above...

True. But I don't think there are that many contenders and in terms of consistency since Day 1 of the season Pat has been right up there. We shall see but personally I don't think the award will go to any forward this year. If Cunningham wins it it'll be a token gesture award just like when Ryan Giggs won the football effort. He has been an awesome player for Saints but not enough this season to be man of steel.
