Although I agree that we will have to rotate all of the squad in order to get through the number of fixtures, chopping and changing a new HB combination isn't going to help anyone.
Of all of the positions, the two halves need to be playing together as often as possible.

How else could you do it???

I dont think you can find your best HB combination by changing each week, that's for sure and as I said, it always seems to be Jowitt that is first for the chop and tbf, I thought he went ok last week.
Having said that, I like Hampshire and he has some different tricks up his sleeve but, ultimately, we need a settled pair of HS's, who understand one another's game and get the best options for the side.

Didn't Max get a head knock though?? I thought he went well too and assumed he'd be in the squad, maybe it's something to do with that?

In view of the sudden announcement are Catalan based in the U.K. or do they fly in. If it is the latter we could have more problems because they will not be able to go home.

Have to agree we are really poor today. Possibly only Josh Wood actually playing.

No way back this time, no wonder tries to kick start us this time. Possibly the worst 30 minutes I’ve seen from us since Agar was in charge.

Gigot, Tanginoa, Kershaw, Josh Wood and Tangata all picked up injuries.

Not sure about the latter.

But it’s men against boys at present.

I know it could just be one of those games but we don’t look like Trinity.
Injuries are not helping but we look like strangers.

Where do you start with that 1st half performance? A few observations; our forwards don't look up to the pace of the game, Fifita especially. He is carrying too much weight and the new game makes that unsustainable now. They are not covering ground out wide to defend.
Miller is way out of form and we need to give a different pairing a go now.
Gigot offers little.
They look like a poorly coached side, it's got to be said

Quite comfortably the worst I've seen Trinity play for some time. Soft defence, clueless attack, mistake after mistake, and that was before the injuries. Ironically we looked a little more purposeful after them. Catalans are ripping the edges apart with simple play. Hopefully we can stem the flow 2nd half.

From what I saw, Kershaw's injury occurred when Kassiano pulled his leg around as third man in the tackle

for a start off of tell our wingers to stay man on man as two of their tries came through jumping the line, at least we would see who's capable of tackling

Why was the restart from our knock on near their line from where the follow on play stopped?
