Ganson was less than 10 yards from the incident, much closer than the TJ. Even with the "momentum" rule, the scorer took the ball two yards in front of where the passer ended up, let alone actually passed it.
On a secondary note, penalising Westerman for standing up....
Thirdly, not penalising hkr at all in the second half......
Fourthly, and, sorry mods, he is a 2@.

To be fair Ganson was in a good enough position to call it himself, but yes, the touch judge has also got some explaining to do. Having said that, if FC hadn't let old Dave skip round them like he was, well, like he was Tom Briscoe, it wouldn't matter.

No, I'm saying it could have been a possibility - although depending on who the touch judges were they could have thought it was a fair pass because there's a large number of them only appear to do the job because they get to wave a flag about.

| It was a good game overall, and credit to KR because they played well. However, that try by Dobson from Lovegrove's offload that was at least a metre forwards is an inexcusable error by the officials. I don't understand how they can miss things that are that blatant.

Please do me a favour, and get yourself some realism.
Hull were in complete command. Even in when Hull conceded after Martin was injured they were still two scores in front with 7 minutes left.
Hkr would not have been anywhere near a win had that imbecile of an official not missed the quarterback like pass.
If you cannot recognition that, then you are fairly dim

Ok.
Silly me for concluding that Hull FC lost because they couldn't defend a 14 point lead with 10 minutes to go and conceded 32 points.
Yes, it must have been all Ganson's fault that Hull FC lost.

And the 14 point lead would have won us the game if Ganson didn't give that try.
Even thought they scored at the end, they would still have needed another if it wasn't for Ganson's ridiculous decision.

With your earlier comment, yes, dim to the extreme,
If your are not clever enough to see the effect one decision can have you are either a goldfish or dim.
Or are you suggesting, that "champion teams finding a way to win" includes being awarded a try for Jordan Tansey whilst being offside (awarded by mr ganson no less)? Does this mean "finding a way to win " Include taking the benefit of poor / bent decisions?

| The pass did look a touch forward, but that happens every week and the fans of every team other than the one it's happened to say, "It happens - get over it."
Indiscipline and a classic case of the chokes cost Hull FC that game, together will Will Sharp allowing David Hodgson to stroll round him for the best try of the day, just pipping Tim Smith's silky skills in the Wakey v Cas game.
Cracking game - well done Hull KR.

FFS, did you actually watch the game?
Ok, I will make it easy for you.
Had Tony Martin not knackered his ankle ligaments contesting the kick off, hull kr MAY not have got possession. Benefit of doubt to rovers.
Had both referee and TJ done the right thing and called a forward pass it would have been a Hull scrum. Time would have wound down by another minute then there is the set Hull would have had. The stats suggest Hulls completion rate was high, so it's not unreasonable to think, the sets ends with a Long kick down field and then there is less than five minutes left.
I appreciate you will have difficulty replying due to the lube on your hands at this point.

| Ganson looked to his touch judge for guidance on the "forward pass" and was not told it was forward. The ref cannot be in two places at once and it's about time these useless touch judges grew some nadgers and started earning their corn. As for the Hull fc fans moaning he cost them the game, grow up you're starting to sound like Bradford fans. You threw it away and you've only got the hull players to blame.

Well lets hope for your sake that the Bulls don't put one over you. If they do, stand by for a lot of posts from East Yorkshire.

I'm just glad that the game wasn't spoiled by any controversial refereeing decisions...Apart from sin binning Dobbo, that was a shocker.
Still, the best team won and you can't say fairer than that.

| I thought Ganson had a decent game. He (& the TJ's) got a couple of things wrong like the forward pass decision and the play-on decision when Houghton knocked on near his own line and not penalising Hull for delaying play from the drop-out. Other than that I thought he got most stuff right.
For Hull fans to blame the loss on Ganson is just daft.

| Dobson sin binning was very harsh and there was a terrible call to award a drop out before Hull's 4th try now dry your eyes.
Hull thought they'd won (shown by that idiot who ran on the pitch) and this reflected in the team. They hadn't and we never gave up.

Does this mean "finding a way to win " Include taking the benefit of poor / bent decisions?'" Leeds' game vs Bradford was different in that it was the last play of the game - although it would be fair to point out that Ganson much earlier failing to send off Terry Newton (who subsequently received a 3 match ban) was more influential than the more famed error.
In this circumstance it wasn't even the winning try - to blame Ganson alone for your defeat is delusional. Yes finding a way to win involves riding your luck - but it also involves having the mental fortitude to ride out the tough calls. It certainly [idoesn't[/i involve collapsing just because one decision goes against you.

You need to get a rule book son.
Dobson was a professional foul and a sin binning offence and the drop out (although a strange rule) was the correct decision.
Agree with the rest of your post though, disappointed with Hull in the last few minutes poor discipline and concentration cost us, although ganson certainly did us no favours.
