Not the greatest in free flowing Rl in first half, but two teams really committed and some top defence.

2nd half Hull stepped up a gear and played some great rugby.

Really enjoyed the game including the first half.

The Yeaman try was probably one of the best i've seen this season, Peter Gentle has really brought this team onto a different level, Hull defense was immense today.

He's very anti-Hull. Though you'd expect him to be an expert on poor attacks given he's a London fan (AFAIK).

It wasn't intense in the first half, it was just two teams unable to break the others defence, mainly down to poor attack than excellent defence.
The Wigan v Warrington or Leeds v Manly game was intense, as enjoyable as a close game like the Hull v Hull KR game was, it wasn't intense.

I thought it was a good match, great defending in the first half and Hull FC were too good in the second half. Good crowd, big hits, good tries, just can't win sometimes with people on the VT.

good old fashioned derby! full bloodied, two teams desperate not to concede in the first half, nerves, then the second half fc turned the screw! watching fubars dull rugby every week it must be rubbing off on your views of other matches!

No need to be so hyper defensive. Any neutral would agree that those were 2 poor attacking sides. Hull FC have looked much better in other games this season.

And you have watched all FCs games have you?. Or have you seen the highlights of the tries we scored. Top 4 abd best defence is a solid start and its getting better each week. As for todays game. it was better than the skints and pies match.

Derby games generally are dull games. About 1 in 5 turn out to be decent games. Saints - Wigan was no better.

Hull are different class under Gentle, say we are poor at your peril.

Sorry my mistake just watched the game again and everything about it was world class. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen in anticipation on what would happen next, I was really gripped at the end in all honesty as the game could have gone either way.
