| Ok guys yes I picked 5, I didn't say that would be the team they were just players who came into my head
Richards would qualify as it is for GB.
Add Briscoe and Fox to the list then

He is a great athlete, one of the best in super league. He is rapid, fit, good ball skills, can kick, good defence.

Im not sure thats true.
Saints turned down the opportunity to compete the year after Bradford won.
on further investigation it looks like an "injury crisis" stopped us competing at the last minute[urlhttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/2409449/St-Helens-forced-to-pull-out-of-sevens.html[/url
Not sure if RL has had another invite though.

| The Emirates national side, the Falcons, are playing in the tournament.
[urlemiratesnrl.com[/url
Let's hope they can put in a good account of themselves. Wayne McDonald ex-Saints/Leeds prop is involved heavily with them.

Come to think of it, both actually. We have some players in league who would be fantastic in 7s. Imagine Greg Inglis playing 7s he would score every time.

Bradford won it in 2002, beating Wasps 42-14 in the final.
Oh and don't be stupid. Any Superleague side could send a team that would beat any English union club. Rugby Union (and especially the English brand) is just not suited to 7's.

yeah maybe but i doubt wether he would like rucking... as it plays a big part in 7s these days.!!
I think Ma Nonu and Jamie Roberts would do a lot better., but then there not 7s specialists neither.!
7s have changed a lot of the past 3/4 years.
The players that play on the circuit are sevens specalists you can get whoever you wont from league to play a 7s world select and the union 7s team will win 9/10.!!
Take a look at the welsh 7s squad that won the world cup last year. I doubt you have heard of any of them.!

RL as a game is more suited to 7s than RU, i would even say RL would give a player a better grounding in 7s than RU
the reason being the focus on different aspects of the game which become 2nd nature
for example, running into contact, in RL players from wingers to props are trained to hit the line and try to break through it every single time, as it is less important the position you hit the floor in than it is where you hit the floor,
in RU a player needs to be trained to hit contact different as being turned into the wrong position can mean a player turns over the ball much more often-so more focus is put on finding the floor in certain positions than in RL (certainly in the backs)
also, RL players are used to playing in more space (fewer players) used to backing up breaks (fewer tackles mean breaks need to be tries, where as with RUa player caught on the breaks first responsibility is to not get tackled without back up) as well as using things like offloads
the rules of the two different sports will always mean that there are basics at which one code excels
