I haven't seen anything irrational other than that odd post about the price of the seats being more in different areas of the stadium.

I don't think that people discussing the fact that a trip to Leigh isn't a particularly attractive proposition is particularly irrational. For what its worth, I think todays attendance was extremely reasonable, because of the reasons cited by pmarrow.

Unfortunatly none of our Yorkshire clubs have managed to build anything like a decent stadium in recent years , so apart from rattling round the Galpharm , you'd have stinky toilets and few actual seats to watch from

Do you not think people were parking all over the place for the game in warrington?,also how many of the fans for the aus/nz game were walk up fans compared to todays game,1000s more i'd guess.

The problem with the parking isn't the amount of spaces. The problem is that to go to a game at lsv you have to drive. If you go to Warrington, people from st Helen's, Wigan and further afield can train it in.

If you come from yorkshire you need to drive but not from wigan st helens or warrington.

Yeh maybe, I did this today. Atherton is rough as hell, you don't want to stick around too long. The place in terms of transport links is a pain in the to get to.

There are talks ongoing about Leigh having a station again.

Its a cracking stadium with and complex, and better Links into the Town will complement this nicely.

For 10300 to turn up for a 'no brainer game' and leave only 2500 seats outstanding, I feel the RFL made a good choice.

Whether people like it or not, LSV and the village have facilities some glorified SL clubs playing in dumps can only dream of. Plenty fans stayed in the 4 star hotel opposite and made the most of what was on offer!!

Some on here need to stop sniping at what is a true RL Town. We all support the same club, so get behind the lads!!

And your ' location ' is Manchester ? , when visiting the Wright Robinson complex I make sure the car is locked and I have my baseball bat and rotweiler to hand

Yes but it's still a dump , maybe just like Leigh , but bigger , we haven't yet reached the point where when advertising jobs in shop/bar windows , we have to request that applicants speak English , admittedly there aren't any jobs , but we still have 99 percent of our population that can speak the language

I haven't visited London other than to watch sport or on business a couple of times , I have no wish to , I don't like large cities , they are full of ignorant d...heads , I recently had to drive through Manchester during the rush hour , I only wish I had been in a 50 ton tank then I could have ' cleansed ' the place of a few hundred

can't disagree with any of that mate,though I have family in London who really love being there,I lived and worked there in the 70s and it was great especially with all the big sporting events to watch - it takes all sorts ! - I have friends in Norwich who commute daily to London for £20 grand a year more than they can earn in norfolk

met an english chap in Limoges the other day from Haverhill in sleepy suffolk,a town of about 20,000 people - apparently the local Tescos has a check-out 'manned' by polish speaking staff ! - ok,I know britain has changed a lot since I lived there and I am naiive but that really takes the biscuit for me !
