| This is not a comprehensive list of all player transfers, just those players that are leaving SL or joining SL (discounting retirees, mid-season signings and youngsters making the step up).
The idea is to see if we're brining in a higher calibre of player to Superleague than we're losing, and could the new salary cap rules be playing their part? Who you most looking forward to seeing, or gutted to see leave?
This is the list so far:
INS:-
Ben Crooks (Parramatta to Castleford)
Pat Richards (Wests to Catalans)
Glenn Stewart (Souths to Catalans)
Justin Horo (Manly to Catalans)
Dave Taylor (Gold Coast to Catalans)
Ryan Hinchcliffe (Melbourne to Huddersfield)
Sam Rapira (NZ Warriors to Huddersfield)
Carlos Tuimavave (Newcastle to Hull FC)
Mahe Fonua (Melbourne to Hull FC)
Frank Pritchard (Canterbury to Hull FC)
Sika Manu (Penrith to Hull FC)
Keith Galloway (Wests to Leeds)
Robert Lui (North Queensland to Salford)
Ben Murdoch-Masila (Penrith to Salford)
Dominique Peyroux (NZ Warriors to Saints)
Mitchell Dodds (Brisbane to Warrington)
Kurt Gidley (Newcastle Knights to Warrington)
Charly Runciman (St George to Widnes)
Corey Thompson (Canterbury to Widnes)
Sam Tomkins (NZ Warriors to Wigan)
OUTS:-
Elliot Whitehead (Catalans to Canberra)
Benjamin Garcia (Catalans to Penrith)
Ian Henderson (Catalans to Sydney Roosters)
Zeb Taia (Catalans to Gold Coast)
Tyrone McCarthy (Hull KR to St George)
Micky Paea (Hull FC to Newcastle Knights)
Jordan Rankin (Hull FC to Wests)
Mose Masoe (Saints to St George)
Josh Jones (Saints to RU)
Joe Burgess (Wigan to Sydney Roosters)

| Galloway, Stewart, Gidley, Tomkins, Hinchcliffe, and Pritchard are great signings, all world class players.
Taylor, Dodds, Manu, Fonua, Horro, and Rapira may also prove to be quality signings.

Can't really agree with that - the only ones from that list that could be 'great' IMO are Glenn Stewart and Pritchard. If both are fit and motivated, they'll be a real real handful. Both do have the potential to be here on holiday and suffer on the fat and lazy front though - Souths were not impressed with how unfit Stewart reported to pre-season, and the only reason he's left Souths is because him and Maguire have total opposite opinions on his training regime. Maguire expects all to train the house down every session, Stewart is from the Manly mould of 'do what feels right for the body' as long as you're right for game day.
Galloway - Could be a very good signing if he stays injury free, but I don't think can be classed as great
Gidley - See Lance Hohaia - Jack of all trades, master of none and not quick enough anymore for that to be enough for him to excel
Tomkins - Not the same player anymore - injuries, confidence, lost that important half a yard of pace
Hinchcliffe - Third man in, cheap shot merchant, nothing more, nothing less - hope he gets snotted
As for the other list
Taylor - Potential to be awesome, and had that same potential in the NRL, but he won't; hasn't got the testicular fortitude to be great - will probably just get fatter and more unfit
Dodds - Could be decent
Manu - Huge waste of money at Penrith, seen nothing to suggest he'll be anything but the same in SL - made to look great at Melbourne, rubbish ever since (not on his own there though)
Fonua - Will be ok, similar to if not slightly better than a Ken Sio type standard
Horro - Should be decent, but also has potential to be fat and lazy
Rapira - Will have his own peg in the treatment room.

Depends upon which way the wind blows and how the clubs want to get round anything the RFL put in front of them.
The whole system has been a farce for years and won't change anytime soon.
Myopia is still a favourite amongst so many clubs, with of course designer blinkers.

| Since it's not on the list, Theo Fages (Salford) to Saints for 2016, and Matt Haggerty (Dewsbury) to Saints for 2016

| I hope Super League clubs don't continue to go down the road of signing has been's and never was players from the NRL.
British juniors is the long term future of British Rugby League not has been's and never was players from the NRL.

If he stays fit - that is a very very good signing! He runs onto the ball at 100 miles an hour, runs some fantastic lines, and is an offload specialist. He's been very good for the Sharks when fit - he's had his injury problems over the years, but only missed games this year with a broken jaw after a shocking raised knee by Konrad Hurrell - I'd have been very happy if he'd signed for Leeds!!!

Better point out this signing is not official as yet - so yes, if it happens.

I'm guessing that's because he was a mega money signing for the Sharks when he first signed, and subsequently spent most of the 3 seasons out with a chronic back problem that kept returning. But the Sharks have still given him a couple of extra years following his initial contract and he's been on the pitch much more regularly and performing well.
When he is on the pitch, he's fantastic.... Great go forward, runs great lines at 100 miles an hour, good offload game and a great defender - he was one of the best 2nd rowers in the game when he signed for the Sharks. The last couple of seasons he's been great for the Sharks and on the pitch more often than not - he was unfortunate this season with the broken jaw, but returned much earlier than expected and was again great for the Sharks at the end of the year.
He's definitely a gamble though - he'll either be a very expensive crock who hardly ever plays, or if he stays fit (which is still a big if), I'd argue he'll be one of the best forwards in SL quite easily.

He was out for pretty much 3 seasons - he kept coming back for a game or 2 here and there so well and truly missed the boat on continuing his rep career, but that wasn't because of his ability.... And whilst he's been very good when he had played over the past few years, he's not had anywhere near the consistency in terms of appearances to get anywhere near a blues jumper - and he's been overtaken by younger more consistent players - just because we hasn't played rep rugby for a few years doesn't mean he isn't a terrific player - NSW have hardly struggled for good back rowers in the past 5 years.

Well, Tim Smith comes in at No 41 so it’s a minor improvement.
Where’s the top forty, surely Sam Tomkins will be up there .
