Yeah, everybody knows Jamie Peacock wins the MOS every year.

| They used to have a player of the year and a MOS. The scenario you are seeing is exactly what.
Yes, the input Clark is having propels him to a position of possibly been the player of the year in Super League.
But MOS is and should be different, and should be more reflective of other roles. Clark doesn't have an influence on others, he feeds off others and is exceptional at it. Without those others though, he would not be doing it. Clearly a quality player and one we would all want in our team. Players like Peacock influence others and lay the foundation for others to excel, much more aligned to that MOS tag.

| Clarke is already one of the best players in SL. But not as good as Micky Mac apparently.

| Could Clark get young player of the year at 21? MOS for me is Paul Wellens.

We have discussed this before and it's complete and utter tosh.
He scored a try from nothing yesterday after the previous two tackles had been lost. Only a biased Leeds fan would try and claim something that isn't true.

| Peacock should be mos by a mile. Any one else wins it it would be a travesty, But Leeds players don't win mos.

| Just a few games left now, have people still got the same opinions on who gets the award?
Shenton has impressed for Cas and although i dont think he will get it should have done enough to regain a test spot.Walsh has been great for Saints at times but the injuries put him out of the running.I still take Peacock as the slight front runner but there isn't alot between him, Hill and Roby. The next 6 weeks could be very important in seeing who can pull out the big performances to nudge themselves over the line.

| Wellens might be a good late bet, very influential player against the opposition in an injury ravaged team.

| But for " the incident" Hardaker would have been a clear contender. O'Loughlin would have been with more game time
As it is Peacock and Clark stand out a mile.

That shows the weakness of SL, that Jamie Peacock (great player) can still considered for mos.

Who ever performs the best during the next 8 weeks grabs the accolade. My money will be on JP.

| I don't think JP has been a patch on last season so far. It would be a fitting reward for an outstanding career however.

| I'd have a shortlist of Huby, Clark, Hill & Whitehead. That said, there's a lot of games to be played yet

| Powell backing Lynch as a contender. Can't really argue. As consistent as ever. Was outstanding at the Bulls and its a travesty be hasn't earned more international caps.

| Lynch 'another' one of those players who's work goes largely unnoticed because he keeps things simple but very effective for his team.

| It's hard to choose I think. I think a lot if players have had good seasons but can't think of many that stand out from the rest. First time that's happened for a good while and shows how even the comp has been this season.
