I'm running a lads day out 49 seater coach trip from Hull (currently 2 places available) and took advantage of the £10 tickets back when they came out. Also attending the NZ game at KC on a corporate freebie

I think the attendance will be around the 60k mark with sales hopefully picking up when the competition actually starting.

Sales will skyrocket a week before the game.

It will be near capacity.

Can't see that happening at all, and I don't believe the RFL will ever have let themselves believe that will be the case. It will be a decent crowd, a good day for all that are there, and those that are sat at home can have a good moan at all the empty seats. Everyone's happy.

If so they must get the top tier open? Try and get over 40k would be really good but open a couple of blocks at a time

Having this game at wembley could be a stepping stone to bigger and better internationals in the coming years.

If you want big crowds, people need to know it's a big event. The grand final didn't get great crowds at first.

The bottom tier at Wembley holds 34,303, the middle 16,532, and the upper tier 39,165. Think the middle tier is the club Wembley ones, so it must be a matter of time before the idiots at RFL open the upper tier as i heard other day that tickets were already at 33,000. Just depends how much ambition the RFL have, i would open it up and sell all tickets a £10 for adults and £5 for juniors. If they did this i'm sure in the week leading upto it they could sell 20,000 more.

The problem is all the folk that have paid out on dearer seats nearby. Its just not on, maybe you'd get away with £30

Not really. Anyone who wanted cheap tickets got their backsides in gear and did so.
Mark my words, if the demand was there (as it was when they extended the offer) they would have kept the offer on until they sold and sold and sold. As it was demand died down and there was no need to open the top tier there and then

Don't know if it works as I have already bought my tickets but just got a text from Gillette to say the next 5000 people to order Wembley double header tickets using code 4NGILL will get them half price.

Club Wembley ticket holders do not get this as part of their package. Whilst they may get first option of their seat, there is a good chance that the RFL are already selling these tickets (although definitely not through the website at the moment).

So by offering tickets for a tenner, you reckon a further 20k would buy tickets in a week. You are a genius, I bet the RFL wish they could come up with such a complex scheme!
