It's a great concept. Shame some RL fans prefer to talk down events before they've even started.

I suspect it is a bit of tongue in cheek from some. Good idea, good campaign in general.....let's face it, SKY and the RFL will be hoping that this is their SOO..........and if it can attract enough attention both in Fans and advertisers, it could be a real bonus.

I'm sensing that some people would prefer we didn't though, and just kept playing the minnow nations in this slot instead which have proved unsuccessful (and we're still playing them anyway, just later in the season when they'll be more competitive). It's hard to sell someone a game that is drab.

In "lad speak", it's like being chatted up by an ugly bird with no boobs (in this case, France). Yeah, some might see the beauty on the inside, but the majority will go for the easy bird next to her with loads of make-up on and fake boobs (The Exiles) in the absence of the stunning bird who's a doctor and has great craic (The Aussies/Kiwis)!

Not that any of that matters to me!
