Maybe somebody who hasn't been offered a deal for next season would be closer and therefore more likely to know how things had been done than infering a club ' near ' w1g4n

I hope they do survive this latest blow , but hopefully the RFL will finally realise that turning a blind eye to certain clubs is counter productive to the sport

I guess it might be that having had a deficient visa at any point automatically invalidates any that may follow.

I suspect there is going to be a lot more fallout over this one to come, it might be that the players didnt know exactly what the situation was.

I won't go out on a limb and slate the club without knowing the full facts and hope we are not going to be kicked out of Super League as we, the fans, have loved every second even if we have taken a few pastings along the way.

I can't get my head round the fact they(well three of them) were stuck in Oz at the beginning of the season and were then cleared to come into the country. Surely it is not all the clubs wrong doing if they were held back. This must have been to investigate and they were given the go ahead to come into Britain.

As I recall, to qualify for a visa this season they would have been required to have played a certain number of first team games in the past.

If those games were played when they weren't entitled to be in the country then I can't see that they could be used as qualifying criteria.

I assume they are too busy putting the finishing touches to the press release which unreservedly condemns Celtic Crusaders for bringing the game into disrepute and announcing that their franchise will be transferred with immediate effect..

Let's be honest - it's a total shambles. Given the number of issues that have surrounded CC this season I find it hard to believe their SL application was sufficiently compelling to include them. Either that or SL/RFL took a blind-eye gamble on a promise of success.

Having briefly calmed down I found this story from the BBC. news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_l ... 839695.stm All 6 were held back whilst being investigated by the British Consulate due to tighter regulations. If they weren't allowed in then why were the VISA's granted and why were they let in. Something tells me if we are at fault it is not only us that has messed up here. Surely they could appeal against this.

Regardless of whether you thought they should have got into the SL, I think the most concerning thing is that this embarasses the game, not just the club.

, so if this is what the problem is I will have very little sympathy as it will mean the RFL have blatantly encouraged them to gain unfair advantages for the last 2/3 years

This is what so infuriates fans of lower league clubs , the RFL being sneaky and ' clever ' to achieve what they want rather than having the balls to come out and state what they are intending to do , why they are doing it , taking the flak face to face and then moving on

It will be interesting to see what they do now , god knows what they would do if this was a traditional club , personally the problem is of their own making IMO
