14,134. Averaging just under 15k though that will drop off as we've had Leeds, Wigan and Wire already, and only have the two Hull clubs likely to get near that left.

Leeds apart, doing ok with my predictions. On course for a 13k average I reckon.

Press Association are rubbish. They gave out a figure of 858 last season bewteen KR and Leeds and got a Warrington game wrong as well.

Just to clarify .. Are the announced attendances figured by starting with the number of ST holders and adding the amount of ticket sales , or actual clicks though the turnstyles ?
The cash on the turnstyles where you don't get a ticket just seems wrong to me . Always wondered where the cash goes . BTW . That ain't aimed at Bradford .

I believe ST's are added to ticket sales/gate sales on the day...therefore you get 12,500 announced when most agree it was nearer 9k.....

I believe that most clubs issue with a ticket/ticket stub.....At Quins you buy your ticket before you go to the turnstile...

At Quins there is a very nice fella stood on the gates . His name escapes me , but I am going down to see him again on 20th August . He is an old-school style of steward . Has common sense .

Attendances should be counted by turnstyle clicks . You could . for example , sell 12k tickets , but only have 7k turn up for a match . It wouldn't be right to announce it as a 12k+ gate would it .

I think it's optional which way you declare attendance figures. Bradford have sold over 10,000 so they will use all of these.....bigger gates will attract even more fans IMO.

Unless they think the game is sold out and don't bother even trying to get there .

Likley 90% or more of those through the Odsal turnstiles on Sunday gained entry by having their membership cards scanned. Doubt there will have been that many walk-ins, and a number of those will already have had tickets including of course all the corporates.

One huge benefit of the Bulls scheme this year is that the majority of bodies through the turnstiles will be being scanned in rather than paying cash.

Any official confirmation that Bulls count ticketholders regardless of whether they show up or not? An emailed newsletter indicates they know my season ticket wasn't used this past weekend.

As Bulls originally gave out a crowd of 4487 which got reported on many sites and that had jumped to 12487 the following morning it suggests they counted turnstile clicks then realised they'd forgot to add on the unused ticketholders !!
