Exactly....as well as that, the captain shouldnt be arguing every decision. He should be bollocking his own players, even if he does feel hard done to. Worst case he should be saying 'the refs pinging us for everything, you need to clean areas up'. Dont give the ref a chance to do you.'

Instead, as you say, he just wades in and stokes the fire, gets himself wound up and ends up doing something daft, compounding matters.

Hes a great player Chris, but i feel like the captaincy has effected his game massively......

I’m getting fed up with Charnley in particular, constantly trapping the opposition in tackles, it’s stupid and referees never fall for it anymore. I’ve noticed since this little aspect of gamesmanship has increased, his try scoring rate has dropped off. He needs to focus on doing what he does best instead of making us look like cheats.

Him and Hill are the main two.

Charnley seems to have a problem with every tackle that’s made on him and loves a dive or trap-in or turtle. Straight out of the Sam Tomkins school of ruck. Just play the ball man!

Should have played the set out and exploited the spaces. Saints were all over the show in that set, half their team were out of position and Patton decided to kick it straight to one of the few Saints players who was stood in the right place.

That’s correct another underwhelming/poor signing this year.

It's OK to have a pxxx poor signing if your coach recognises this and drops them. Holbrook drops aussies if need be...thats why his team is better. Livett over J Clark every time for me.
