100% clear who the better centre is, Bill Tupou on current form. He’s had the best season of his career and clearly had both Tonga and NZ chasing him for the international call up yet turned them down, Konrad Hurrell has undoubtably had the worst season of his career.

Hurrell won't be anywhere near as important as Lyon. I'm not sure he even knows how to pass. But if he's fit he'll add hugely to the entertainment in SL. Lolohea ditto. Austin at Wire will be like a breath of fresh air as well. Whilst we may never get as good as the NRL, bringing in players who have flair and are just fun to watch is a good way to go.

I’m not expecting us to win or reach the GF next year (have to wait to see the finalised squad for next year as plenty of rumours flying around, but it’s definitely more likely to be GF than Qualifiers

Hurrell exploded into the NRL a few years ago and was spectacular and exciting - no arguments with that; his star has since descended after injuries, suspensions and a significant dip in form. So whilst I'm sure he'll do some stuff that's worth watching, the OP's hyperbole is based on who he was 3 years ago - if he was still that player, he wouldn't be leaving the NRL.
