I'd rather have 1,700 fans who behave as against 56,000,000 which includes such classy elements as this.

| Still a couple of things which bug me about that pic:
1. How has the Hull fan's shoe come off?
2. Which side is the blue t-shirt guy on?

| Is that Paul Cooke in the KR shirt practising his field goal kicking?
He looks fat enough and seems to have the same poor technique.
Good to see that cheap polyester clothing is still the choice of people from Hull as well.

You are saying that this is acceptable
....so you reckon that of the 60,000,000 population of the UK if asked if they'd rather see 1,700 fans having fun or THIS PICTURE....they'd rather see the violence? Sooner you merge with the bigger Hull club the better.
No Joke...No wink......do you honestly think that this image is better than that of an empty stand?
WE OWNED CATALAN...THEY OWNED YOU.....AND YOUR COMEBACK IS........our fans are more in number? Yeah.....they are a real credit to the game
read the HRK fans post on your own boards......they are generally great fans, but you have some ANIMALS that define you......#
has willy arrived yet
'"
Nowhere have I said that it was acceptable. Just annoys me though that this four-year-old pic gets dragged up. Yes it was all a bad incident, but it was the first Hull derby at CP for four years, there was some serious animosity between the two clubs (from the fans to the board) over the whole Paul Cooke saga, our stewards kinda triggered things by letting Hull fans stand in front of the safety barriers (making it easy for many of them to run on the pitch, which then triggered some of ours to run on), and though it was a bad day lessons have been learned from it.
Since then there have been about a dozen derbies (inc the Richard Horne Testimonial game) and there hasn't been a single reported incident of crowd trouble. Can't this one incident finally be forgiven?!
GF you've got your opinion about who's the better SL club and I've got mine. You feel it's Quins because of your youth set-up and current SL league place, whilst I feel our quadrupling of support in six years and progress from NL1 champions to a play-off win in four years makes us a better and bigger SL club.
Guess we'll have to leave it at that eh.

Fancy a guess at the crowd numbers?
I'm going for 1,600
*edit*
I'm going to change my mind.
1,500
(+ or - 20 or so)
The Friday night slot and it being shown on Sky will keep most Huddersfield fans at home

| Quote ="JB Down Under"What's the problem with the pic? Don;t you know HKR have an NHS fitness initiative? The Hull fan is merely getting paid 1.50 to offer himself as a exercise option for overweight HKR fans. All seems very amicable and applaudable to me. Like this next one, its not violence just a new climbing fitness regime for Hull fans, and the last pic is part of Hull's training squad for when shoe throwing enters the Olympics, forwd thinking lot Hull people!
Me I look forward to the day other SL clubs can reach the dizzy heights of Quins RL!
'"
Interesting picture of the Stoop. Couple of points:
1. That shot must be at least two years old as that's the old south stand.
2. The stand on the right is the West Stand. Rarely opened for League matches and from the look of the pitch it's way before kick off any way.
The guardian did a similar thing recently. Took a photo from the South Stand of the West and North Stands, missing out the East Stand. The Majority of supporters sit in the East Stand. The camera usually lies!

We are debt free.......we have no (nor do we want one) overfdaft.......we play in a state of the art stadium.....our fans (neither of them

Has willy turned up yet?

Not sure how you claim to be debt free.
Your current liabilities are more than your current assets.
Also your long terms are around £6m more than your assets.
I appreciate these maybe subordinated loans and rank at the bottom of creditors list, however they are still classed as debt.

Sorry yeah, I meant 14 years! (Boxing Day 1993 right?). Actually there was a Clive Sullivan Memorial game there in 2003, but in terms of top flight games it was the first since 93.

Apt.
Although looking at the photos 'handbags at 20 paces day' might be more suitable.

No. Unless he lends the club the money. Which he doesn't. He gives it. So yes, they are debt free.

No point scoring.
Someone posted they are debt free.
They are not.I was merely clarifying that.
TB - If its not a debt why do the FSA class it as such? The subordinated loans still show as a liability and technically still classed as debt.
Also if you take out the long term liabilities(which i presume would cover the subordinated loans) the club still has a deficit,so would this still indicate some debt?
I have no wish to have a long running debate over this, however if you can point me in the direction of a link that shows subordinated loans are not classed as debt i will accept they are nearly debt free.

Quins are free of any debt that is anywhere near likely to ever need to be, asked to be, or be paid back. The Debts they have are to their owner
