As I've said elsewhere, pretty much every company has rules regarding it's employees and social media. But this also comes down to players not behaving in a mature and responsible manner. If a player has a problem with their respective club there are better way to deal with it than crying on Twitter. You can go direct to the club's bosses. If you don't get a satisfactory answer or you don't feel that you'll get one, then go to the players union and have them address your case.

I can understand the frustrations and the worries of the players at Bradford After last year. But the players need to learn there are ways you should and shouldn't go about this.

Other clubs' economic difficulties became a win, of sorts. Being pleased that you've beaten a rival is a cause for celebration, or even other results going your way. Cheering or gloating over a rejection of planning permission, or a CCJ, or whatever - that is just wrong on so many levels. But it became natural.

Think the RL 'family' did more than its bit for Bradford... but what can you do if they chose to waste the money on pre-match fireworks.

It seems remarkably odd to me that the payment is delayed until 8th August - why? Once the bank are assured that there are funds in the account, then the payroll could be run immediately, I wonder what the delay is for and whether those employees who have gone overdrawn or been otherwise embarrassed have had a promise of full recompense?

FWIW I wish Bradford well and hope they come through as a Salford season ticket holder for many years I do know the gut wrenching feeling of constant promises of new dawns, each one false - but hopefully not this time for two heartland clubs!!

I don't remember much sympathy from the bulls in 96 when leeds were struggling and they were riding high.

When lodon were struggling they voted them out. When wakefield and crusaders struggled they circled like vultures on their players.

That might have been true a couple of seasons ago in the case of several players (and I said so repeatedly) but in the main I have been very happy with the amount of dog in the current squad this year, especially given where we started from, and being on half money of everyone else. The Hull game was one example of it, as is the miracle that we are still live in the race for a top 8 spot despite having a 50% funding penalty.

missing a key fact from your "statement", our main income source, the TV money is half than all the other clubs. That is why Khan has bankrolled the club. If you halved the SKY money of ANY other professional sports club, including football, they would have to be bankrolled by their chairman. Any club with a chairman who hasn't got a bottomless pit of cash, would struggle.

To be fair to Mr khan,when he took over he did say he was going to invest 2 million + into Bradford bulls and Odsal

The Bulls took a short term Loan from the council we are told......around 200k. Then the 200k of wages are late being settled...the owner rides in with 900k, of which, 400k is already accounted for.
The last 3 home games at Oddslum this year feature 2 teams that bring their fans on a skateboard....the overwhelming majority of fans at those games will be made up of your 6,500 ST holders so there will be little income at the gate.....that 500k will only go so far.

On the topic of half the SKY Money.....it's not like Bradford didn't know they were a half mil down this year.......but instead of cutting their cloth accordingly, they have spent more than they could and their owner had to REACTIVELY re-mortgage other investments to give them enough cash to see out the season.

This loan was a REACTION to failings at Bradford to generate enough cash to pay the wage bill...dress it up how you like, it's not a good look for the club or the sport.

Seriously, apart from the £200k loan from the council, the rest of your figures seem to be plucked straight out of the air.
