Yes I do. Roby was shattered by the end, Sinfield was carrying that team, offering superb direction when it mattered for the whole of the 80 minutes. That is taking nothing away from Roby either, who played very well. Sinfield's contributions towards the victory were far more significant, that is for sure.

i knew this would become new zealand was terrible thread! not the fact they have been beasted in the forwards and if i am correct they have no real first team forwards injured? well done all of the england sqaud it was utter domination of the world champs. Well done rangi for no brain explosions even if he was being targetted. it was very hard to judge a MOM for me it was westwood and i would love to see the stats of hes workload tonight.

No England player could be criticized there, every player put his hand up and put in a top class performance.

very impressed with england tonight. we can make improvments though a bit more composure in attack and we could have put 40 on them tonight. I really think we can beat the aussies, we are playing as a team which is great to see from all of the lads.

Noticed an for a programme about Darren Lockyer on the Sky coverage.

How about we move that programme til after the final so we don't go on about how good an Australian is? Not good for anyone to see really. Save it till the Monday?

Some credit has to go to the coaching team for the performance aswell, Englands defence stood strong, the players and coach have said all week they were going to 'fix up a few things' the way we defended our goal line was much improved on the previous week. If we can take that goal line defence into next week and sharpen up the attacking kicks to force more repeat sets we can really trouble the Aussies.

Kiwis were below par, but to be honest we never gave them a sniff - we were dominant defensively and solid in attack, rather than devastating. Room for improvement, but a better all round display than last week.

As others have said, Westwood was immense tonight. To be fair the whole pack did well. Wilkin is a bit lightweight bit did alright, which is a surprise as I don't rate him at all.

Got to step it up a lot next week though - we can't afford to let in the sort of soft tries we allowed the Aussies to score at Wembley.

luke was put on report for a dangerous tackle in the game for new zealand prior to the 4 nations, thats on report 3 times in four games for dangerous tackles

Excellent team performance tonight. Another step up needed next week but many positives to take from that 80 minutes.

Sinfields pass selection In the first half was p!ss poor. He was a lot better In the second half though.
A number of the forwards should have been in front of Sinfield as MOM.
I take my hat off to Peacock though,ultimate warrior that fella,personification of the ethos of Rugby League for me.

Isaac Luke = deserves a long ban after so many on report tackles. It was clearly a cheap shot targeting the knee. If he wants to end someone's career it should be his own!

he is an utter dog and he does cannonball alot in the nrl with him twisting ronalds ankle i think they was trying to target him. i am surprised sam wasn't knocked out or at least a broken jaw with that elbow and the amount of high tackles.. Its easy to see that new zealand and aussie think they way to take sam out of a game is to house him but its doesn't work unless your name is gareth raynor lol

They played well tonight, and have toughened up with two hard games having the stamina to last eighty minutes tonight. The forwards, especially Graham played well. Should give the aussies a hard game and hopefully spoil the Lockyear party.

Exactly. It wasn't Sinfield's finest hour at all. Defensively excellent as ever, but he did nothing with the ball in hand despite the domination. He was terrible in the first half.
