The most positive thing I've read is that if they go into administration the channel is likely to remain broadcasting for a few months while buyers are sought - so Origin on Wednesay should be safe.  |

Setanta Ireland spends the majority of it's time encrypted to UK customers. |

Not always. The Setanta Ireland channel was shown unencrypted to UK subscribers for Origin last year for certain. I don't subscribe this year though so I can't say whether it did for Game 1 this time. |

I believe that was bought by ESPN hence the name change so I doubt that will be affected. By the sounds of it a new ESPN channel will appear for the start of the new soccer season.
As far as origin goes ill be able to watch it on aussiesport.tv on thursday. Its only 3.99 a month and you get to see every game played but 24 hours after the game finishes. Worth it though IMO. |
