Think you can't dismiss Cudjoe on one game. He's had a great year and deserves his spot.

We have a few coming through that we need to push on with. Crooks. Goulding. I'd even say Thornley has really impressed me in recent weeks and is a good shout.

Don't think Turner will kick on much more. Bridge is a penalty machine. Atkins is a bit weak in defence at times. Ablett is a back rower. Hardacre is a full back.

We have some decent players in the centre without having to resort to playing backrowers out of position such as Ablett. Watkins (is not fit presently), Cudjoe, Goulding, Thornley and Turner have all had fantastic seasons and would do a job for England in the World Cup. Throw in Crooks into the mix and you have plenty of cover and potential.

Thornley? Wigan fans don't seem to rate him.

For me Cudjoe and Watkins. Both have had brilliant seasons and you can't choose one game to decide whether a player should be ok the England squad or not.

What Mcnamara must not do is choose an unfit Watkins or play a back-rower of full back there. It just doesn't work. I can see Mcnamara putting Hardaker there though If Watkins is injured.

I don't think Goulding, Atkins or Turner have a chance as they're not part of Mcnamaras ETS squad. If Watkins is injured I would be tempted to put Briscoe there. I've always thought of him a a centre anyway.

And if i was pushing Bridge for an England spot you'd probably have a point but i'm not.

Watkins is the most talented centre we have produced in this country for some time, skilful and athletic. I know some parts of his game need working on but he is clearly the best option and attacks the best on the right side which is where I would play him. You never know, the few weeks rest he now has before the world cup kicks off could refresh him ready for the tournament

He is you know the (lees lad) of the super league XVIII DREAM TEAM.

He is, the centre.

Most of use rate him as an excellent prospect who is a long way from the finished article. He is an ideal candidate for the Knights squad but shouldn't be considered for England yet.

Blimey, if we dropped everyone from the National side everytime they had a bad game we'd use about 60 players a year...
