Yes I am and that’s why I can say with confidence that I t will never be in fashion. The Merrie City is linked directly to London via road and rail so compared to sheep worriers like you we are quite cosmopolitan.

They have adopted the same colours as the football team.

I assume because it better fits the branding of 'The Tigers' (when I was growing up I was told Cas were 'The Glassblowers'.

If they retained amber and black, they would look more like bees or wasps than tiger stripes.

They're not often seen round here but are tigers really dayglo orange?

It is interesting that Cas have used a huge range of yellows and oranges over the years when you'd think they'd have settled on a specific one. My club Bradford is ambiguously "amber" in our colours but it doesn't change much year on year.

Wigan, supposedly the 'cherry and whites' have also used quite a few different shades of red, from dark red to one that looked almost pink-ish on certain photos and TV shots.

That's another good example. Wigan might claim to play in cherry and White but actually I'd say that's red and white. That top shirt is cherry but their regular shirt is just red. This is right up there with the nerdiest things I've ever written.

I'd say this season's shirt is closer to Cherry than Red personally.

I'd say part of it comes down to the manufacturers. The red tones have certainly been darker with Hummel/Errea as opposed to ISC & Kooga.
