Can't comment on the Wakefield situation but LCC, on the whole, haven't objected to plans at Headingley. Some councillors in local wards have voiced objections or concerns, but that's to be expected when you're trying to build something in one of the most densly populated parts of the UK outside of London.

As for South Leeds Stadium, the council were right not to throw tax payers money at a white elephant project.

I thought the plan was to move the pitch up a bit away from the POR end to enable it to be levelled. Seems pitch is staying as it is, or lengthened at the other end. Is there still plans to remove the slope?
