Agreed. If the ultimate goal is to have a second Welsh club in SL then it makes sense now to build Cru's own identity as the North Wales club, not THE Welsh club.

Super League isn't going to happen down South for quite a while yet I imagine.

For one the ground is not good enough, crowds not large enough so Scorpions will be a stepping stone to Crusaders and Super League for the forseeable future at least.

If they do get good enough and most importantly big enough whilst playing out of a better ground then the division would happen naturally with the clubs being at opposite ends of the country. Another scenario is that Crusaders are not around any more and Scorpions could fill that spot.

Yeah, I'm not saying the Scorpions are a shoe in for a license the next time the RFL dish them out. I think the ultimate goal is to get another Welsh club into SL, but that's a fair old while off yet. In the mean time establishing Cru with their own identity rather than the domestic counterpart to the international side. So, when there is a second team in SL the two clubs have their own unique identity to each other and the international squad, rather than the Welsh team and the other one. If that makes sense?

I don't think many will argue with that. That away top is buyable for a neutral it's that good.

More or less identical to the 1986 away shirt.

As Crusaders are a WELSH side (in as much as they play their home fixtures there at least) and they are the only 'Welsh' side in SL (and are likely to be the only 'Welsh' side for the forseeable future) I see nothing wrong with the club modelling their home shirt on the Welsh international one.

It obviously won't be identical.

The Welsh are a patriotic nation and if modelling it on the Welsh national side means they sell a few more then I'm all for it.

Catalans are FRENCH side, so should they play in a French kit? Nope, because Catalunya is a region with it's own private identity. Just like every village, town and city.

The away shirt is far and away my favourite ever Cas shirt, I think its amazing. And for me, Biased i know is the best shirt in SL this year... Well... That and the Rhino's away one

Fair point, I actually like both the Catalans kits. I'm impressed with the JJB website too, i'll be visiting that more often.

Cas are onto a winner with this one. Stunning shirt, i have not seen one better this season or the last to be honest.
