Rubbish... WRU have worked hard up in north wales. They just havent the players to compete. They have fast tracked teams to Division 2 but the get relegated.

WRU have just started to set up a new Region at colwyn bay called gogledd cymru and shall play in the Welsh Premiership , the team shall also be bolstered by Canadian international / up and comin players.

ALso £6million are being spent on the ground at colwyn bay and training facilities

Unfortunately, it seems that only the RFL's preferred Neath option is being talked on in the media, suggesting there is only one spot on offer and that the decision has laready been made.

Dico, what I mean is that there WAS interest down here from a business consortium, rather than the wealthy oligarch benefactor from Wrexham, asking, as far as I'm aware, the same terms as Moss, yet Mr Moneybags gets the nod.

I don't think Moss has bought in taking on the rumoured £1m debt.

Quite frankly I really don't care what Wrexham does now. I'm just hoping for Bridgend in CC1.

If there are two bids, I don't see why there can only be one club entered. If they are both good enough then they should both be in. It keeps the league even as well which is a huge bonus.

If they're looking at bringing Crusaders back to South Wales at a later date, then they are stupid. People are already p*ssed off with them. Very few will want to support them in the future. There are too many barriers. Fresh start for Bridgend is needed, and I fear that if they don't get a CC1 side then that's another generation of fans not wanting anything to do with RL.

Pretty much what I just posted on the other thread , the RFL seem to see clubs like a McDonalds type franchise that they can move about at will and it will still succeed

It's sad isn't it. There are actually studies on supporter behaviour and how it differs from consumer behaviour they can go look at. There are also studies at how supporter behaviour differs from participation behaviour.

The problem is there is no logic behind their decisions. No consistency. And definitely no honesty. I have always held the belief that if you truly believe that what you're doing is the right thing then you'll be as open as possible.
