Probably cost no more than 30/35 million just what we will get for Adams and Cooper

Stewart injured until September I believe. He’s only 1 year left of his deal though. We can’t lose any more midfielders, we’re threadbare there. Southampton have a good side if they keep Ward Prowse.

I see none of the sky EFL ‘experts’ fancy us this year to go up.. most backed Southampton Midds and Leicester. That’ll do me, I like us going under the radar.

Good signs going forwards today, with a good striker we win that. Defence badly needs work. Byram and Creswell improved things but we need Drameh fit and another CB bringing in. Hejlde looked poor. Need a good left back

Thought Summerville was very good as were Gray and Ampadu. Gnonto worked very hard just looks a touch rusty. Sinesterra not his best in the 10 role.

Plenty of work to do in the market and they need to do it quickly. I’m off to the midweek game it’ll be interesting to see the team, we can’t afford many more injuries

Just shows what a half decent full back can bring to the team (Byram)
I would be happy with Phillips/Bellis and Cresswell in the centre back position with Byram RB and someone like Taylor or Williams LB.
Get Hamer in that team and a proven striker and we will do ok.
I also prefer Poveda to James.

all 3 are right sided CB's aren't they? certainly byram or preferably dramah at RB.

Didn't think Cresswell was great when he came on. We definitely need to get at least one CB with pace. Especially if we're going to play with such a high line.

Looked a handful Poveda when he came on. James unlucky not to score in the second half. Im sure I read we’re closing in on Phillips but will see. That squad is very threadbare in midfield though, lose Ampadu and we’re in trouble. We’ve got to keep Summerville imo, don’t think he’ll have a release clause. I’d sell Harrison.
