Quote ="Big Jim Slade"You initially said that you'd be the first to admit you were wrong, but that this was going to be a simple Cas win.
Leeds win.
Cas never take the lead and are behind for an hour of the match.
Not only was it not a simple win, it was a defeat to a Leeds team that played better on the night.
Your response? I was wrong but Cas lost that, Leeds didn't win it.
Having a different opinion is what makes the world go round, but if you're going to admit you were wrong then don't qualify it. You said a simple win, you were badly wrong on that. You give Leeds zero credit for actually winning the game, we should just be grateful that Cas had an off night.
How should I take that?
And as for the what if game, if the referee had had a better game Cas wouldn't have got back in to it in the first place, if Leeds had a kicker we'd have been 26-4 up and Cas almost certainly wouldn't have come back, if McShane had been sent off... etc. etc. It's an 80 minute game, you can't just look at what happened in the last 2 minutes and say that's what decided it.'"
In my opinion, I think Cas should have won the game in the last 5 minutes, having had many chances to do so, that's all. Leeds were the better team for 60 minutes, I already said that in my second post. I didnt give them credit in my initial post, but credit to them, they completely proved me wrong. As you say, it's an 80 minute game. Leeds played for 60. That needs looking at.
