So you would accept that singing "We all hate Hull" would perhaps sound dumb to the high percentage of Super League fans that aren't in Kingston upon Hull who would generally call the two teams Hull and Hull KR?
And yes, I do say so.

Widespread ignorance is still ignorance. Should we pander to ignorance?
That said - I don't hate Hull (FC). Chants at sports grounds probably shouldn't be taken too literally or seriously.

| We do things different around here .... Season pass/Pattie butty/White phone boxes.
We know what is implied by the chant whilst outsiders think it sounds dumb. It maybe dumb but we're not going to change - dumb excels in Hull you know
Anyway HFC = 'ull

Nick does have a point - Tom Hark is played far too often.

| So when FC fans sing "Come on you 'Ull" do you ignorant people think it is some sort of rallying call to the councillors to improve the city?

| Quote ="JB Down Under"mate 100 years of ravallary, goes with the tune, adds to the atmosphere, whats your problem? Its not like its the only song in the East stands repertoire! Or would you prefer we were like something other clubs who have one song that gets repeated add nauseum through the game?'"
My problem arises when the song is sung. After Rovers score a try the last thing on my mind is Hull FC. The pure obsessiveness of some Rovers and Hull fans about the other team is rediculous.
Also it shows the new breed for what they are at Rovers (part timers) because the song was actually "WE ALL 'ATE 'ULL...SCUM" yet the scum part was dropped off once the East stand was 3/4's fuller than it was back when the song started!!! A clear indication of who we are talking about just by having the word "scum" in it!!

And a brokeback mountain cowboy singing to his horse is meaningful how exactly, in a Rugby League context?
