I can't remember when this current squad have ever had so many injuries so I'm not sure how much your first remark stands up!

Regarding the Cas match, Cas won fair and square and nobody hinted other wise, same as last year at home to Quinns and Salford.

What is the difference in Leeds losing to Cas and Hull KR this year, to losing to Salfor and Quinns last year?

Or losing to Wakefield away this year to losing to Catalans last year?

Not sure I fully get you point about money as there are always two very good reasons to win any final, glory and money. Remember, prize money does not count on the cap so I suspect that both Saints and Leeds players wanted both, assuming that both clubs would pass the prize money to the squad based on some sort of pre-arranged deal in terms of dividing the money up.

I can see the fact that some 'star' players may want to move to a side lower down the pecking order to take a bigger slice of pie from that clubs cap but, I don't it will bring them a doubling in salary per-say. Moving to RU might be the real money option!

That is sort of what I meant as well Tony, I don't think there has been rumblings and Kevin's GF comments were meant to be a positive, not a negative as maybe Sad is viewing them.

Let's not screw around here, we all know they have the ability and the quality, it's a question of when.

Still despite the injuries and poor form they are essentially 4 points from top 2. 4 points is nothing, espevcially with 3/4's of the season to go.

Admittedly they have tough games coming up, but that can be viewed as a positive in that it gives them direct opportunity to make ground on certain teams.

Leeds are a team capable of making the grand final from outside the top 2 and if they go on a good run in the playoffs I don't think who ever get's ''club call'' will be picking them.

It they get a chance,I think the Saints club would, if they struggle to beat them in a final, they would have a crack at them on the home ground.

It depends who the other choice and whether saints got the club call.

And whether it will rain or not on the night.
