Great game given the weather and a nice warm up game for Leeds. Crusaders will get more than the three wins they collected in 2009 but they'll do well not to finish bottom.
The less said about the video referee the better.

That was closer than the points suggested, but it did seem like Leeds didn't get into their stride until 60min or so. Whether that's because Crusaders held them for 60 or because Leeds were coasting, I'm not sure.

It was going so well, but some of the decisions took the shine off a great occasion. Good to see than fans clapping the players off at the end. They seemed to take to it really well.

I think that game will be worrying for Salford, After only a few weeks together Celtic went toe to toe with Leeds for 60 mins. The game between Celtic and Salford in a few weeks will be very interesting

Thought Crusaders played OK in the first half. Second half, they had to do a lot of tackling and I think that shown in the end as they looked knackered. Decent game imo.

I went to the game tonight. Everyone seemed really positive about it and to pull a crowd of 10300 is fantastic. Regardless of it being the first game and against the current champions, this has to be recognised.

It was a massive effort from the Crusaders players. Their fitness was their downfall in the end. I'm surprised they managed to hang on to 6-6 for so long, they looked exhausted at moments of the first half.

Of course their crowds will fall, but everyone I've spoken to has expressed a desire to go again, so why not give them the chance.

Quite enjoyed that, despite slipping and sliding around coming away.

Its all there for Crusaders really, decent stadium, plenty of parking (theres a shopping centre right by, plus the Uni, plenty of spaces).

Just hope the floating fans don't look at the scoreline and reflect on that, it was even for 65 minutes.
