3. Good pubs and shops around the ground

5. 50/50 seats/stands
6. Fully covered stands
7. Access for all ages and abilities
8. Good food and beverages facilities
9. Good Bar (similar to the Quins one)
10. Good patient stewards (Wigan take note)

So you haven't spotted the huge car park next to the stadium or the parking on the surrounding streets (within a 10 minute walk at the most) or even the huge car park next to the hospital and your not interested in a park and ride? Maybe we should chopper you in?

Caddick Construction Ltd does the work. Leeds CF&A (the Rhino's parent company and the company who, up until 2007, owned the cricket side of the ground as well as the rugby side) pays Caddick Construction Plc for the work.

The only difference is that the payment terms are slightly more favourable. The fact that the same person is at the top of both towers is irrelevant. Leeds CF&A still gets invoiced and Caddick Construction still gets paid.

IMO watching RL in the sunshine on open terracing is magic. Certainly better than being cramped into a seat, sometimes stuck behind someone who is considerably taller. I would certainly like to have the choice of being in a covered stand if it is raining. Most traditional grounds in my experience have this option.




If you are stood up, obstructed views don't take away any pleasure. It's only a problem if you are sat down.

Covered stands - I have answered that above.

Catering outlets - my own view is that I wouldn't want anything to eat at a ground. Also, a few traditional grounds have club houses where you can get something to eat and there are always pubs nearby where you can get something to eat, as well as a number of shops.

Bars - The Variety Centre at The Willows, is IMO, the best drinking facility in RL. That's just one example. The beer outlets at Headingley are also very good in my experience.





A lot of spectators use public transport too. You can actually get from Leeds to The Willows in an hour by train and then tram.

As for parking at Salford, you could always use the car park behind the North Stand. Safe and relatively cheap. There are also parking facilities at a school two minutes walk up the road.

Not a great endorsement. A famous thinker from that period spoke to plants.

I can't imagine why anybody coming off the M62 wouldn't use the P&R at the KC. It's spot on and much easier than driving to the ground.

Then again, the sort who wouldn't is probably the sort of person who can't fathom out why it takes a while to leave when 12,000+ are all trying to do the same.

Having been to virtually every single 'traditional' RL ground, I can't honestly remember any of them being as horrifically bad as some of the posters on this thread are making out. I certainly can't ever remember 'wading' through urine in the toilets.

Tesco's agreed , not quite the same thing , Wire were ' gifted ' or ' bribed ' into a new gound depending on how you look at it
