There are no highlights,but anyone who isn't a troll like yourself would have enjoyed a good game of rugby league if they watched it on our league. Widnes deserved their win today and all the best to them. Your trouble is you spout as much $h!t as you can but can't even attend a game to support this wonderful sport.

Don't abuse him for not attending games. Many people have family or work circumstances that prevent them from getting to games. I am not living in England so I also cannot get to games easily.

Not attending games does not disqualify people from having opinions.

Whilst 'his team' were in action in yesterday's semi final he was on the Wigan forum discussing the potential signing of Burgess.

A real good 'old fashioned' game of rugby league, with no quarter asked, or given. Leigh made far too many errors and Widnes scored two cracking tries, which would have been superb, even in dry conditions. The build up to Gelling's try was worthy of winning the match, in it's own right.

No complaints from me - the winners were the better team, and I hope they have a memorable day at Wembley, especially after their trials and tribulations, this season.

I was unable to watch the game as we had taken the kids to one of those clip and climb things. I had heard it was a great game and as you have been posting highlights recently of games, thats why I said I couldnt wait for you to post the highlights of this game so no need to be so aggressive champ.

Are Widnes expecting to take many fans to this? I know it might not be seen as a major trophy, but it's still Widnes at Wembley so I'm guessing they will. I'm also guessing that although a large number of fans only watch their own team's game on multi-match days, the majority will definitely go in and watch the Challenge Cup final. Given who the teams in that final are, it could be quite lively to say the least!

I think it's a good concept though, and could potentially add 10,000 on to the Wembley gate if Widnes fans really buy into it.

They bought into the semi final in large numbers, added to a tremendous atmosphere, and (rightly) celebrated in style when they won. After the horrors they have endured, this season, I would expect them to attend the final in numbers too.

I hope they (and Sheffield fans) enjoy a well-deserved day out.

What end of Wembley are Widnes fans at? Given that I'm expecting the vast majority of them to support Saints in the CCF, it will be a tad moody if there's a lot of them in or around the Wires end when our inevitable defeat comes to fruition!

They are in the same end as saints. Joining in the w#nky w#nky chants no doubt.

Wonder how many will attend the curtain raiser between Wire and Saints?

We are in the Saints end and have been given an initial allocation of 3500 tickets. They went on sale this morning and sales went amazing. Can see that allocation selling out and us taking maybe 5,000-6,000. Never had the pleasure of watching the cup kings years ago at Wembely, the whole town are getting behind it which is fantastic for the championship and sport.

Great game against Leigh. We’ve had an awful couple of years but our lads are doing us proud. Pretty sure we’ve used around 30 players this season and 22 of them have come through the academy.

Don’t worry I can see us losing every game until Wembley but as long as we win that one, amazing. I was surprised with the turnout at Leigh from our fans. It just shows the respect we gave the cup and also the opposition.

Didn’t think we’d stand a chance, especially after Blackpool. For the conditions, we gambled and threw the ball around and thankfully it paid off. Hope Leigh or one of the other teams give Toronto a shock and make SL.
